I can't believe the decisions these kids are making.

Amari Cooper was a breakout player for them, and now they use that pitch to get guys like Jeudy and Ridley. Bama still has no QB and are run first all the way.

Who has better hands, speed, instincts, and willingness to learn? Give me that guy. I would think Dugans can teach how run routes, block and schemes to someone with the tangibles that is willing to learn. It is hard to teach hands, speed and instincts though.

Im sick of hearing this. They arent giving these kids millions. We have PLENTY of fans who can dish out 50k. It's not the money its just that their desire to see their team win is more.

We dont pay sec $. Whether we have it or not doesnt matter. We dont pay as much as they do and thats facts. Nobody here is going to give names away and have grandma turn into a bad guy and now her grandson gets a suspension, but its reality. And your living in a fantasy world if you think otherwise.

You agreed with me. We arent willing to pay it because we don't care like they do. That's my point. People make it seem like theyre paying these kids millions though. If we wanted to we CAN pay just like Bama. We choose not to & suffer because of it.

My fault, i thought you were talking about the recruits desire to win. I think we just dont have the balls and care too much our reputation in case we get caught. The school definitely wants to win, because that means alot more $.
 
Bama's 2007 class was top 25ish. Maybe my memory is going, but McClain looks like the real star, and he was legit. Funny how we were busted up when he took Kerry and Nick from us. I don't recall them doing ****.

2008 on the other hand was ******* loaded. Im not ready to indict Richt because he won't have the number 1 class this year. I do think that we need to finish in the top 10. Ofourse staff targets and then development are key.

But yeah it kinda sucks we are missing on our top 3 wr targets.

Im not sure if I am justifying, denying, deflecting, or what, but . . . No doubt Julio Jones in 08 was awesome. No doubt JJ this year is a baller. I think in 08, we could have won with better wideouts even if it wouldn't have been Julio. I would love to get some of those south florida wideouts with chips on their shoulders. We just have to find the right ones, and develop them.
 
All the sadness in this thread lol. Bama will continue to get who the want 98% of the time. You guys can continue to lie to yourselves like Bama doesn't have everything kids want

Actually think he's better than Jeudy bc he doesn't even realize how good he is yet and he's more explosive.

Never expected him here. Makes too much sense, and if it's one thing these kids do, it's make the choice that makes sense. I'm not sure we were even a realistic option. Just another hat on the table like the Mo Smith situation. He's known exactly where he wanted to go for some time now.

Ridkey jones and cooper put up huge numbers and when u run the ball like they do wr are running wide open

Smith isn't quick. Straight-line guy. He looked horrible in the footage I saw from the Rivals Challenge because he was so leggy and slow out of his breaks.

His speed is legit but Jeudy's ability to separate so easily against good DBs puts him on a whole different level. I think Harley can give us the speed element.
