These kids kill me. They would rather attempt to be the next guy at a school with established guys in a redneck bigot fückfest then establish a legacy of their own. They don't realize they didn't put a single player in the first round last year? Even after winning a ship? The NFL has caught on that the hype doesn't translate THAT well, so why haven't these kids?

Their looking into the now and not the future. All they focus on is that cash now and an NFL paycheck. Their not thinking about producing in the league. I dont know exactly what a 5 star gets these days, but im sure its at least 50g's. I was talking to a buddy of mine that was telling me how the payment all worked and the kind of guarantees they all give them. Very corrupt man, and it ruins the game. Sec wouldnt have half those rings they do now if it wasnt for cheating. Everyone does it, but they take it to the extreme. All we can do is win and put players in the league to sway these recruits.

Im sick of hearing this. They arent giving these kids millions. We have PLENTY of fans who can dish out 50k. It's not the money its just that their desire to see their team win is more.

I ain't a hatar. Well yes I am, name says so. Seriously I hate bamer more so for historical reasons, but kids today more into glitz not substance. bamer got this college football recruiting thing on lock down. Somebody will not be a factor all they have and a focus on running the ball.
 
Unbelievable... Don't any of these kids have a mind of their own? He's never going to see the field there. He committed to Richt before why not now? Is it that hard to recruit to Miami these days??? Ish is incredibly frustrating...

We dont pay sec $. Whether we have it or not doesnt matter. We dont pay as much as they do and thats facts. Nobody here is going to give names away and have grandma turn into a bad guy and now her grandson gets a suspension, but its reality. And your living in a fantasy world if you think otherwise.

Although we received 3 studs at receiver last year, I still don't see them keeping all 3. There's just not enough room for them all in one class based on Bamas past. We may not get one of them but someone else will. I'm sure Bama would rather trade one of those scholarships for a big nasty or another back anyways.

If they cannot cut it in Bama's passing offense would you really want them in Miami's? No thanks, I'll take a kid that comes here from the start and works through the system (perhaps has a little chip on their shoulder knowing they're as good as the big name guys, just haven't had the chance to show out). We've had plenty of success that way in the past, and should have the same in the future.

Player will eventually see we put players in the NFL, and they are some of the best, with long careers. When we actually have them prepared for the draft unlike the last few years (low picks and UFA's) players will want to come back.
 
Some of you are like mice caught in a mouse trap. Someone puts out a little Jeudy or Smith cheese. You come running thinking it could actually happen, build them up as can't miss or locks, then the trap slams on your neck. Here we are squirming around trying to get out of the trap. Pete waiting to place his next bit of cheese to fill the site.

There is always a chance with a good coach that we will get some of these guys, but the build up around them is created, more often than some of the interest is real.

You agreed with me. We arent willing to pay it because we don't care like they do. That's my point. People make it seem like theyre paying these kids millions though. If we wanted to we CAN pay just like Bama. We choose not to & suffer because of it.
 
I wasn't that high on Smith. Harley can bring us the same element. Jeudy is the one that stings.

I understand what you mean. But we have to change some minds. Remember when Bama was down? Saban came in and well the rest is history. I am going to go look at Saban's first and second class at Bama, and then Ill be back!
 
So January 4, 2007 Saban took over. Let us see the 2007 class. His 2008 class is just like this class for Richt.

Unless we play in the championship game, no way they flip from Alabama. And even if we win the championship, its still a long shot.
