extremely impressive performance by the Lions Defense.... Unfotrunately they lost another starter in Terrion Arnold who was carted off. smfh...

Mitchell Agude is on the Lion’s roster? He played for the U for one year I think. Always shocks me how these players never really do anything with us and then wind up playing in the NFL.

The Lions have been decimated by injuries. I'm sure we have a couple pool cleansers and car salesman out there. These are 4th/5th stringers.

OC may be internal hire. Their Pass Game Coordinator is Tanner Engstrand or something like that that they've been "grooming" or at least that's the thought. Dan Campbell called plays after he fired Anthony Lynn, so maybe he'll be the play caller.

DC could be internal hire with Kelvin Sheppard, but may be a fresh face. They definitely are going to go with a guy that is agressive and plays a lot of man coverage. Really wouldn't be surprised if they hired like Dennis Allen as DC given the Saints connection. And he is a pretty good DC all things considered. Just isn't a HC....

Yep i was thinking dennis allen, glenn was under him and the saints had a top defense, especially secondary.

Kris Richard, db coach for the eagles could be a name too, he was with dennis allen in NO. Maybe comes to Detroit with dennis if he gets it

Engstrand is part of that Harbaugh coaching tree that starts back at Harbaugh's USD days. As @Memnon knows, some gifted offensive minds have come through that program (Taylor being another one).

Would love for Mario to dig into those lower FCS ranks for upcoming young offensive minds (and defensive minds) to come on as analysts. Those FCS guys (as well as DII and DIII guys) are forced to think outside the box to neutralize the personnel discrepancies that exist between programs.
