Five of the Top 25 receivers in the NFL are three stars or below from South Florida. Antonio Brown, TY Hilton, John Brown, Allen Hurns and Travis Benjamin.

Only three of the Top 25 were five-star receivers.

Really cant rebuttal this fact can you? lol.

legit question because i don't live in south fl anymore: is there something that you guys know about this kid that everyone else doesn't? the only other p5 teams recruiting him are oregon state, pitt, and syracuse. the only other florida schools are fiu and usf.

He blew up as a senior and he plays quarterback. My understanding is that he was not a big camp guy, either. Those are some reasons why he has a lower profile.

The interim staff saw his senior year, which is why they offered.

No way they drop this kid. First, you don't drop a kid 6 weeks before signing day unless you already have someone in the bag. I mean, kids like this get drop maybe 7 to 10 days before signing day when you have a feel on how a kid is leaning.

Second, Richt is a big play action guy, and you need guys who can get deep, and dude sure does have speed in that little highlight tape that D-Money put out there

The interim staff is borderline special needs. Idiots. All of them.

Richt hasnt reached out to him. All the commits he likes hes been in full contact.

Again he went on a official to temple and has really no offers so no way we dropped this lif. Sounds like yes way

Again if he was wanted and not pushed by hasnt the head coach talked to him and now its dead period lol

This is entertaining. People have been so Goldenized that they are afraid to let go of some low 3 star recruit that is going to end up at Temple or Toledo. Richt doesn't want these guys. He gets top 5 classes.

Has nothing to do with being Goldenized. And if you have watch Georgia lately, they haven't had any good receivers outside Malcolm Mitchell. This guy would be the faster WR on Georgia's team outside of Goodwin.

I am surprised to see so many people have blind faith in Richt's ability to recruit South Florida players. I am not doubting Richt's Georgia recruiting based on his track record, but South Florida is a different beast and has a lot of undercover gems. He's only been here a few weeks so I am not gonna pass judgment on him until after signing day.

What ever happened to Darnell Solamon (Miami Central) if we were to land him is he an adequate replacement for Phillips? Does his "trouble on the Georgia visit" take him off of our board?

He appears to be an E/E kid.

Seemed to do just fine getting Sony and McKenzie

He is not faster than isiah mckenzie.

Him commited to USF tells u everything u need to do lnow about what top schools think

It's the state of Florida find athletic kids every where. Phillips tape reminds me of Trayon Gray .. Athletic QB good in space with ball in his hands (of Course Gray was bigger but just as fast) he's not going to make or break this class. WR are everywhere in this state.

I would love to see them recruit Ronald Patterson out of Raines High School since they seem to be recruiting this school heavily. To someone else's point stars are overblown Pie Young Hudl doesn't look like a 4-star kid at all JMO.

"Unforgettable Senior Season" - Ronald Patterson highlights
