Des saying it on Gameday

He’s up there...

But as far as analysts who cover college football for ESPN, no one & I mean no one is worse than Joey Galloway.

He’s the most smug arrogant hating *** prick I’ve ever seen. And I’m not even just talking about when he sh*ts on Miami, because tbh for the most part we’ve deserved it over the years, but his analysis of just about every other team in college football sounds like the inner monologue of someone who genuinely hates everyone & thinks he’s legit better than everybody.
I can’t even pay attention to what he’s saying because his voice and tone are just impossible to listen to lmao

@Liberty City El you hit the nail on the head there, he another clown who I would like to see have uncontrollable diareah for like six months so we wouldn't have to see him on TV. If it isnt his school, everyone else has so many areas to improve on and he is the only one with any knowledge about cfb, another espn hack!

my point was this was all done to get Mario here. He hated Blake. you are missing the point.

I'm not missing the point, I know the point incredibly well, more than you will ever know.

The point is, that was NOT the only reason to fire Beta Blake. You really don't know what happened within UM related to the Herbstreit story, the Echevarria/Fernandez delegation, and the decision to allocate more resources.

Again, the TIMING of Beta Blake's firing is highly related to signaling Mario. But there were several other powerful reasons to fire Beta Blake, not the least of which was the (belated) debunking of the fund-raising myth.

If Mario does leave for Miami, I will be interested to see who Oregon gets as a replacement. For all this talk of "Nike Money" it does not appear that they have previously shelled out a lot of money for their football coach and if reports are true (huge caveat) their extension offer to Mario is below market.

Yep. And their always-reliable "Promote the OC" method just walked out the door...

Though they are always entitled to pay a few million to Akron to get Moorhead back. Might not want to do it after those 2 Utah games, but you never know...

Journalism is all about clicks anymore even when negative. More clicks is all most of them care about

Facilities wise, we probably are never gonna be on the level of an Oregon - we just dont have a lot of land around the school. But if we step up our financial commitment to assistants etc. then a lot of the narratives against us wont be true anymore.

Don't try to pull Cribby into this and don't act like "we" (meaning you) know specific facts.

There were plenty of reasons to fire Beta Blake, but he was never making it to the end of the season once it became clear that Manny would go too, and Mario would be our primary target.

And don't play cute with me. I am on the record, both on the board and in DMs and e-mails, that Blake should have been fired early in the 2021 football season as a signal and prelude to hiring a new coach. But I am also on the record listing the many reasons for Blake to be fired for YEARS now.
Btw, jerk offs like you are why people in the know get annoyed with posting. @Dwinstitles can tell you what I been saying privately. @Sebastianspipe can tell you what I know. Im sure @JayCane20 can too.

dude the moment Blake hired Manny, he owned him. it was a package deal. this is the bs. Can we all just be happy Blake and Manny are gone? this board is crazy.

He’s so condescending it’s irritating...

When I watch Gameday or College football Live & he’s on, I be talking at the TV like, “Bruh who TF you talking to?!?”

He be making me wanna swing on’em lol

"They played with heart and desire".

Agreed. Now a more wellrounded evaluation would take notice that the HC fired his DC last year and decided he would take the reigns of the defense because maybe he couldn't get a replacement DC. We all know if it wasn't for an injury to King and TVD coming in, combined with Lashlee's improved playcalling, we would've had more losses. When you look and players not developing but actually regressing, especially on the defensive side of the ball, that should be another clue. Top it off with some f*cked up decisions during games like the FSU goal line stand? I mean WTF are they looking at? These f*ckers don't have to do their homework only try to create narratives.

Much of the negative national press now for UM has to do with the school/BoT leaving Manny twisting in the wind. Thought is UM should just put Manny out of his misery and end the humiliation/cruelty of sending him out to recruit.

That's the current reason. And it's only because they can't allow anything nice to be said.

The hate is real. ESPN has just realized that a resurgent Miami would boost ratings because people are tired of the same few teams making the CFP. Thus they allowed the Herbstreit rant.

Just remember we have won 1 NC in the last 20 years. The 80s are far gone. So when you say historically you are correct. It's like when we were winning championships in the 80s and Michigan St looking back in the 60s talking about their glory days.

But I do agree Miami has more built in advantages than Oregon.
We have not had the level of commitment financially the last 20 years so that is why I included that factor.
