Des saying it on Gameday

That's the current reason. And it's only because they can't allow anything nice to be said.

The hate is real. ESPN has just realized that a resurgent Miami would boost ratings because people are tired of the same few teams making the CFP. Thus they allowed the Herbstreit rant.
Do people actually think this is true? You have no idea how ESPN operates if you think this way. Have you ever been in a production meeting or spoken to anyone who works there? Clearly not

Do you think Herbstreit just said all of that off the cuff without any prior approval?

they don’t need approval for that. The emphasis on the show is being real. Topics are discussed but what they are going to say is not. To get real conversation on set

Our Offense improved tremendously, last year, but I guess you forgot.

SMU’s Offense will be 10x better than Banda’s Defense at Utah State.
The counter to that is the offense was previously lead by Penos, so an improvement was inevitable.

The truth of the matter is people will see what they want to see. The days of respectful disagreement and healthy debate all long gone. The line between slurper and mope are drawn by everyone's personal agenda. So I'm gonna return to my bunker and question everyone's intelligence if they have the audacity to disagree with my line of thinking.

This rant brought to you by "Get off my Lawn" guy!

People are literally talking about building a statue to Herbie at the University Of Miami.

They are just fan boys that need a reason to love this guy. Look he seems like a nice enough guy. He doesn’t come across as super intelligent though, and that oft referenced rant came straight from Vilma, as we found out. So maybe we just need to tone it down on the Herbie love a little bit.
i don’t need a reason to love Herbie. He’s been a friend of the program for as long as I can remember. So what if Vilma shared info with him about the state of the program? He had to get it from somewhere and he had the stones to say it on national TV. That moment was arguably THE catalyst for the culture change we are witnessing today.

An improvement is never guaranteed. Our Offense was trash before Enos arrived but nobody wants to go there. Lashlee isn’t perfect but he’s given us two seasons of our best Offenses in many years.

…..arguably THE catalyst for the culture change we are witnessing today.

No it wasn’t, not from where I sit.

“Arguably“ is correct though.

Because it can be argued that he certainly was not the catalyst.

The catalyst was that people with money, real money, that were sick of losing. I seriously doubt Herbie‘s rant had anything to do with them willing to cut loose of hundreds of millions of dollars. Chew on that.

He’s up there...

But as far as analysts who cover college football for ESPN, no one & I mean no one is worse than Joey Galloway.

He’s the most smug arrogant hating *** prick I’ve ever seen. And I’m not even just talking about when he sh*ts on Miami, because tbh for the most part we’ve deserved it over the years, but his analysis of just about every other team in college football sounds like the inner monologue of someone who genuinely hates everyone & thinks he’s legit better than everybody.

Do you think he actually ran a legit 4.1 something?

It seems like Herbie's comments might be a backhanded dig at the UM admin... basically saying here we are talking about if Mario is gonna take the Miami job even tho manny is still the coach. It's a bad look.

imo we should have 8 titles because we'd beat Oklahoma in 2000, we beat osu in 2002, and that Cleveland Gary fumble against nd was bs.
You forgot to mention Vinnie’s aerial disaster against PED St.We should have beat them by 3-4 scores if Vinnie hadn’t kept throwing them the **** ball..
