Des saying it on Gameday

What did Pollack say that was so bad? He's right! If Mario wasn't an alum, from Miami, with a sick mother in Miami, he would probably have no interest in the job. Everything we are offering Mario, he already has at Oregon.

He'll be coming here to do something he's already done before. Our hope is, with the right staff and our local recruiting base, he can be more successful here.
It’s pretty much the same as us wanting Mario. If he wasn’t alumni, we wouldn’t want him. Today’s narrative would’ve been: who wants a coach that can’t be Utah.

In his 6th year of him controlling defense No D Mannys defense was terrible. 90 teams allowed fewer points than his excuse for a defense. Enough said. Points allowed is the bottom line. Throw any other stat out the window

Not so sure I would agree. Historically Miami has had more success ( 5 NCs) than Oregon in football. Better local recruiting base. Better location. Bigger tv market.

Any coach would look at this job, with the current level of financial commitment, as a destination job.

A little patience and faith goes a long way. It’s like everything else in life, if you believe it’s happening in the snap of a finger, you’re lying, stupid or both. We’ve got our AD and our coach. Time to stack chips and being this program to the top of the mountain again. Be scared college football, Miami is Back.

Why are we so sensitive on here? Herbie didn't insinuate we should keep Manny at all. He acknowledged the players played hard and Manny is dealing with a difficult situation, which he is. That doesn't change the fact we don't need to hold the door open on his way out.

Herbie is being nice to Manny. I don't think he in anyway wants Manny back... He knows Manny's goose is cooked.

Herbie, lolol. If there is any doubt Jonathan Vilma him copy back in October this segment ended it.

Right. That was the perfect opening for Kirk to speak up and say "Hey guys, remember when I talked about this two months ago, well I am well-connected and I know the Miami situation. They listened to me and targeted a top AD and a top HC."

Instead...he reminded us that "Manny is still the coach and had them playing hard 'all the way through', you know, except for the first 6 games..."
