Des saying it on Gameday

Pollock was being a hater. A lot of people associated with college football will also consider Miami to inferior and unworthy despite the fact that UM has won five championships in their lifetime. You see that he started down the road of comparing Oregon’s tradition to Miami‘s and then quickly realized that he was sounding like a damned fool and try to clean it up a little.

imo we should have 8 titles because we'd beat Oklahoma in 2000, we beat osu in 2002, and that Cleveland Gary fumble against nd was bs.

What did Pollack say that was so bad? He's right! If Mario wasn't an alum, from Miami, with a sick mother in Miami, he would probably have no interest in the job. Everything we are offering Mario, he already has at Oregon.

He'll be coming here to do something he's already done before. Our hope is, with the right staff and our local recruiting base, he can be more successful here.
He took a shot at our facilities, feeding the SEC bull**** lies for negative recruiting that our facilities aren’t up to par which isn’t true.

Look I don’t love the way this process has gone down either but one of the weirdest takes to me is the “look how they’re treating manny” thing. How’s it any different than every coach in the country “recruiting over” players? How many teams are going to be throwing the moon at Ewers this off-season that have a returning starting qb? It’s how the world works in every line of business. Manny is still making millions, his feelings will be fine.

Herbie, lolol. If there is any doubt Jonathan Vilma him copy back in October this segment ended it.

People are literally talking about building a statue to Herbie at the University Of Miami.

They are just fan boys that need a reason to love this guy. Look he seems like a nice enough guy. He doesn’t come across as super intelligent though, and that oft referenced rant came straight from Vilma, as we found out. So maybe we just need to tone it down on the Herbie love a little bit.
