Depth Chart from TOS

Coaches have made several positive comments on Courtel so no surprise there, Wyche has disappeared since we put pads on. Obviously, a fitness issue. I am sure he will get some burn but I would guess the staff is concerned about offenses going too fast to get him off the field if/when he gets gassed. Moore seems like he could have some potential, kid is a short ball of muscle. Looks like he has been putting in the work, hopefully he surprises and is a contributor.

I think we may even see some of Grace and Fentress on third and longs. I love DP but we do need improved speed to stop those conversions. Our D is set up to give up the short catch in those situations, but we need to get there to make the tackle.

I think we rotate DBs and LBs enough to not worry too much about first or second team. I think we will still see a fair amount of Thurston and in turn we will see a lot of Grace and McCord too.

I think we will see more of Lewis than Dorsett first and second downs, he is a much better blocker and still poses a threat as a big play.

Interested to see how the OL shakes out. We need someone to really step up and lock down that RT spot. Hopefully it will be KC. If not then I say we move Figs back out there. Much easier to help out a G with the C than a T. But I guess we could just continue to stick a TE over him, but it better be Stan.

Overall, I am really excited to see this team perform. I think we have some elite players and we have some really good young talent. We also have some veterans that have worked really hard to maximize their respective talents. Go Canes!

Let's be real here, Moore is only being considered in rotation because of Wyche's lack of conditioning at the moment. I really hope we don't see a lot of Moore on the field.

i hope you guys are right about grace! i don't feel as comfortable penciling him in as a lockdown cover guy seeing as he hasn't yet played a game in college.

- The development of Courtel Jenkins is very encouraging.

- Fentress comin

-What happened to Thurston?

Have you ever watched Armbrister? Nothing happened expect better players taking his playing time. It's only in the teams best interest.

When has the staff done anyting in the best interest of the team? Corn is not better than Howard, my guess Quan is not the impact player Chad is either. Is Owens better than Grace? Is Gunter better than Burns or Corn is another real ? The best players need to be on the filed not the other way around

What a dumb post.

I remember last year people spewing the same nonsense, crying that Golden was choosing Highsmith/Rodgers over Jamal Carter. Everyone insisted Carter was better (based on nothing) - turns out Carter wasn't reading the playbook, didn't know the defense.

Bottom line is you don't know ****.

People kill me with this ****, its if they think the coaches don't want to put the team on the field that give them the best chance to win. Just because a guy is higher rated coming out of HS, doesn't mean he is going to be the better player in college.
