Depth Chart from TOS

So, this is a depth chart based on the colors of practice jerseys and where guys were lined up during stretching? Got it.

Dude, that is as stone cold a lock as being voted off the island. Second row during stretching --- may as well transfer out.

Corn over howard?

Love owens over armbrister, ***** the upper classmen crap

Everything else seems like the right moves

When you really sit down and think about it, Corn has all the tools to be a better corner than Tracy.

I agree but tracy has deserved to be starting he had a very solid season last year IMO

You think Tracy should start based on last season rather than a current evaluation of a healthy Corn Elder?

Hes proven he can play and produce

Tracy and Gunter will be the starting corners, Burns and Elder first ones off bench. All 4 gonna get a lot of snaps regardless. As well as Antonio.

Since staff won't move Kirby to strongside to get Grace on field starting at weak side. Give me Grace over Kirby.

I hope Owens fends off Armbrister. Want Owens to start.

Regardless of whether AQM or McCord is starting. It's basically co starter. Their both gonna get a lot of snaps and rotation. And both will be on field at same time a lot too. Chad will play a lot as well. Harris will get in the mix.

Denzel, Grace and Owens would be nice at linebacker.

I still expect to see Yearby to get more than Gus.

Coley, Dorsett and Lewis like I said. I expect Dorsett and Waters to rotate a lot, Dorsett will be used more situationally. Said that we would have main 4 with Coley, Dorsett, Waters and Lewis. Berrios gonna crack in to make it 5 soon. Can see Brady coming along as season goes.

Your kidding yourself if you don't think KC starting over Gadbois Labor Day. KC more advanced than him as a true freshman. Gadbois had prep school and his 3rd year here. Nuff said, gimme KC.

Walford and Dobard co starters.

Deon and Dallas starters at safety. But Carter breathing down both their necks if any of them slack off. Carter gonna get starter snaps regardless, too talented just not as experienced as those two yet. Fentress gonna be leader of special teams. I'm expecting Hester to emerge in the two deep despite what people say of Gayot. Think Hester very prepared as a freshman safety.

Pierre needs to watch out for Kamalu. Kamalu starting in the 3-4 at end but he's gunning for that 4-3 DT spot too. Nice development on Jenkins. Concerning on Moore and Wyche. Hope Wyche gets better conditioned. Moten is gonna move into the two deep eventually, great skillset. Heurtolou really coming along, hope hype is real with him.

Expecting Hamilton, King, and Jones to transfer sooner or later. All getting passed up.

does any other team rotate their db's as much as we do ?
I'm not sure that many teams have 5 starting caliber CBs. Actually I am sure that very few teams have a CB group as deep and talented as we do.

I am really starting to get excited. You can see the talent and quality depth coming back right before our eyes. This is a great time to be a fan. Now its up to Golden and staff to coach these guys.

Think of our Cornerback situation a few years ago. Man, we have some talent there now.

Grace is the polar bear. Kirby is the seal. Soon.

No doubt that Grace is on the verge of a breakout. I still think Kirby can be a very good LB, for us. Those two are just 2 completely different players. Have a feeling Kirby gets moved to Mike next year. I think he's a better fit there.

Four years in and people still don't understand what the jerseys represent. You'd think the reporters, who cover this team daily, would know that those jerseys don't delineate starters but represent team leaders and guys who are doing the right things and not making mistakes. On Saturdays, they go out the window and don't mean ****. They also change daily and when they practice twice in a day, they can change twice in a day.

Besides, other than QB, who gives a **** who starts. It doesn't mean you're going to play the whole game or play at the end when it matters. Its a motivational tool, nothing more.

- The development of Courtel Jenkins is very encouraging.

- Fentress comin

-What happened to Thurston?

Have you ever watched Armbrister? Nothing happened expect better players taking his playing time. It's only in the teams best interest.

I have and I thought he started out well last year but wore down toward the end. My comments are mainly based off of the praise he's been getting from Dnf and Golden. Just surprised but eff it, let the best man win.

Armbrister definitely looks the part out there. That UiF game he played pretty well.

Owens though, always been a huge fan of his. Nice to see his hard work paying off.

truth be told...any south Florida recruit that can't see that there is a need for talent on the defense is either blind or in the dark. the opportunity to come in and work hard and perhaps play early is real.

Want to know a true sign of depth improvement look no further than CB. In 2011 (Golden's first season) our starting CBs were Brandon McGee and Lee Chambers, with Thomas Finne and JoJo as the key reserves. If those 4 were on this team now none would see the field besides JoJo at safety

i actually think fentress can be a player. in the few times he's gotten on the field on defense in meaningful situations he's played fast and violently, kinda dallas crawford-esque.
