i'm sort of concerned about our LBs in passing situations. in some of the camp clips the school has put on youtube you can see owens getting burned a few times. i wouldn't mind seeing us put three safeties on the field in nickel situations with just denzel.

Already been in the works. Staff trying to work in Deon or Dallas into a nickel/safety role and get Jamal on field with them to have all 3 at same time on field.

That boy Jelani Hamilton fell slap off the map...can't see how McCord makes big plays almost every game but can never crack the starting line-up.

A poster on here claimed he would never amount to crap a few years ago, and oh yea like I said Waters will never start here

I remember some being skeptical on Hamilton even early on. Saying he was a very big project. Just probably didn't pan out. Was waiting until his junior year and here it is. Scout team. Time to move on.

Also DatCaneGuy, AQM and McCord is like co-starting. Both gonna be on field at same time too. And get about same amount of snaps. If anything I would chalk it up to IMO AQM is better in run support, so he will get the nod, but its literally co-starters. I expect both to make big plays this year.

You like to pat yourself on the back, huh? Especially when it relates to bleak forecasts regarding our players and team. Congrats!

I don't get what you're saying, Waters has started games and when Dorsett leaves after this season Waters will in prime position to hold one of the outside jobs

which wide receiver "starts" is completely meaningless anyway. as a percentage of snaps played waters was probably our second most used WR last year.

i think Golden is taking the best player on the field approach and no taking class and seniority as a factor

Granted some of these kids never played a college down so when the day comes few player will be adjusted on the depth chart.

but it is good to see Golden stepping away from seniority bs

It wasn't seniority BS. The guy was rewarding those kids who stayed through the NCAA **** storm who went to war with him!! It takes a lot of heart as a coach to put aside your pride and hunger to win right away to let Dudes like Rogers and highsmith stink up the joint knowing the young guys were better... And you can hear how the younger guys speak now that they knew wassup. Time to unleash guys like Carter, Owens, and Grace!!

I wouldn't call that heart

I missed those young players making said comments. Can you point me in the right direction?

I like this concept as Jamal would play as a rover...box player that's hopefully a strong component in defending the run and can provide above avg. coverage. More speed, the better.

It is a concern. That's been our weakness. Our underneath coverage has been horrific.
