DC Candidates

I also specifically said “Does more with less”. Muschamp hasn’t been a quality DC in over a decade. Keep him where he is at, the game has passed him by.

Anybody with a résumé like that is probably not available because he's already been scooped up by a bigger school.

Do you have somebody in mind that fits that criteria?

We're probably gonna have to go:

1. G5 DC
2. NFL position coach
3. P4 position coach
4. Red flag on the résumé (Fitzgerald, Mel Tucker, etc...)

Benedetto just got another job I believe

I wouldn’t mind T Will

No to Hemphill. He was an absolute disaster at Wake Forest
Fresno State. If we can’t pry him away from that job shutter the program.

Fair on Hemphill. But Wake hasn’t exactly lit the world on fire defensively since he left, and his other stops have been impressive. Other names would be better I’m sure, more tossing some potentially more under the radar with these 3 than guys like Muschamp/Walters.

Mel Tucker would be solid just tell him no women in his office alone

No phones and no lotion either
What else are you supposed to do while watching film?

Here's a live look at him in his office watching film:

I know he was at UGA to be close with his son. Not sure if his son is still there.

Either way, he's an obvious hire if you can get him.

I prefer a former HC who can put together a defensive staff. Some up-and-comer probably doesn't have enough contacts to hire established people in alignment with his scheme.

He coaches during the week and then does not coach on Saturdays, when he goes to see his YOUNGER son at Vanderbilt.

He DID show up for the ACC-CG.
