DC Candidates

I Guess If You Say So GIF
I'm just saying everyone is coming at me and trying to save someone that don't need saving. Mario is getting paid 8 million dollars a year, why is this 54 year old man above being criticized for doing worse than Al Golden after three years? He ain't special. I'm on his neck the same way I was on Diaz, Golden, and Shannon. I could see if he was working a normal 9-5 and making $50,000 and here I am bashing him. That would be sucker ish. In the real world, what job could you be average to below average and be a millionaire and then get fired for being incompetent and then be paid multi-million dollars more in a buyout? Eff Mario’s feelings and any other coach that is not earning their keep.

Aint worth it.
Plenty of DB coaches that can get it done. DC is much more important. Need someone who has done more with less with a proven track record on the P4 level.

Do that and let them bring/hire whoever they want to. I’d scrap that entire side of the ball if it were up to me 🤷🏾‍♂️.
Yes

See this is what i am talking about. What makes Mario a "****" ? Any trait you give me, I point to another coach that CIS glaze and praises that does the same thing. Because we like that coach it's cool, right?

Secondly, by what metric is Mario not good his job? His has improved this team year in and year out. He has brought in pieces that allow Dawson to produce the # 1 offense. Here comes the counter argument, "it was Cam". Who convinced Cam Ward to come here? For the most part, whatever part of the team he has sought out to improve, he has done.

Look, there are plenty of things to critizes Mario on. You don't like his pacing. You don't like how he singularly focuses things. You don't like how long his interview process is.

What coaches do posters here glaze and praise?

Mario is 84-76 as a head coach. So he being a polarizing individual in college football circles as a hard ***, micromanager, who is narrowly focused, etc. is not yielding elite results.

Mario gets credit for Cam and the #1 offense - he gets an F then for Emory Williams being inept in that #1 offense. He gets an F for the defense. He gets an F for the special teams gaffs that lost us games. He gets an F for the clock management. An F for blowing a a 21-0 lead with the playoffs on the line. An F for kicking the FG at Cuse and an F for not running it 3 times from the 7, then kicking the FG and losing by 1. He gets an F for his media management of the Cam Ward decision.

Mostly good names. Santucci, Hetherman, and Campanile would be my top 3.

3, maybe 4 that would be adequate hires imo.

Let’s see what happens. Definitely don’t want Avalos, Hurtt or Taylor. Santucci meh.

Hetherman me.

Santucci is my top choice out of that list.

Bumping JT to a coordinator role would be the absolute worst case scenario.
