DAY 5 PRACTICE THREAD

Two days I've been here and njoku has been impressive. Smooth at that size and catches the ball with his hands. Wr
Depth is very good.

KAAya is the truth. Seriously.
He is going to be elite
By his junior year. Footwork is great, quick release,
And already scans the field better than Morris ever did.

I don't get why people seem like they want Heaps to not play well.

I want ALL the QB's to play well.

They're all a couple plays from being the guy.

‏@mattyports James Coley makes it pretty clear Jake Heaps and Brad Kaaya are ahead right now.
It's pretty difficult to go from likely game 1 starter to 4th string afterthought in such a short amount of time. I'm curious to see if Olsen sticks around.

He was the perceived week 1 starter before Kaaya and Heaps took a snap in practice and before they could see what RW11 was capable of physically. Along with his own lack of performance, that's why he went from "starter" to 4th string in a week.

Our Dbs are the strength of the team. Corn is going to be a solid starter at some
Point in his career and he's 4th or 5th on the depth chart. I'm sold
On Antonio Crawford, he has elite
Speed and he seems to be
Processing the game much faster.

Yearby is so quick. So quick. He and duke make up the best backfield
We've had here more than a decade IMO.

Did golden name heaps the starter? Because people on twitter are starting to b¡tch and moan about it

I'm not going to be upset if he names heaps for the first game. True freshman in a hostile environment with no experience usually doesn't work out so well.

Neither does starting Jake Heaps based on his past experience at two mediocre programs where he lost starting jobs.

The quarterback who performs the best this summer should be named the starter, experience be damned. Otherwise the outcome will seem like a predetermined deference to experience, which shouldn't be accepted at any program at any position.

Reminds me of the year that Lamar and Storm were rippin off 70 and 80 yard runs in scrimmages.

Sad that duo never materialized.

I can still see Kaaya getting snaps in this game. Coaches need to get him in this game. It will be the most hostile environment the team will see until Nebraska.

Antonio has stepped his **** up this off-season, he's standing out. I don't really see us losing much alternating between Howard, Gunter, Burns and Crawford, with Elder being just a hair below those guys.

Well Yearby is not fast. I mean,
He's not slow either but he's more
The type to get 6, 8, 4, 13, 5 in a series.
