DAY 5 PRACTICE THREAD

What will everyone argue about in today's practice thread?
I'm going with what was in Kehoe's breakfast burrito this morning.
SMD reports the burrito contained egg, bacon, and cheese. Ferman posts story. Turns out to be sausage.

Tomorrow, Susan asks Al:

"Al, are you concerned that after it was reported yesterday that Art ate a egg, sausage, and cheese breakfast burrito his stool actually was found to have contained traces of ham and spinach?"

Al responds:

"Susan, I'm just not going to go there. Unless you heard that directly from the sports information office, I can't comment on reports like that. I have to respect the players and coaches rights to privacy, HIPAA rules, all that. What I can say is Art has been very well fed, and his BMs are legendary for their dinosauric proportions. Next question..."

using guidance from canesinsight punto com and other "sources", vegas reports that kaaya's heisman odds are now at 44-1

Agreed, but that's one game. If he was in their plans for games 2 through 13 wouldn't he be seeing a lot more meaningful action?
They need to focus on the top two men for Louisville. If Heap or Kaaya goes down, the other one needs to be ready. Olsen won't even be traveling for that game. I think they will give Olsen this season to prove his worth. If not I see him transferring no later than December.

Liking what I see from defensive line at Canes today. Also, Kevin Olsen is, shall we say, slightly used in practice.
@timreynolds

It's clear they are trying to force him to transfer. Ofcourse, if someone was suspended for the first game I wouldn't give him other peoples reps either.

Kicking game looks decent. No obvious problems.

Heurtelou is massive. And plays a bit ****ed off. Progres? Too early to tell.

Wells is pretty bad honestly.

Gus has been screamed at a lot in two days

Coley is just too smooth. The Great ones make
It
Look too
Easy. Buddy also here with me says coley is the best Sophomore wr he's seen at um ... He's been attending practice since 1993

Gus better get into gear QUICK!!!!

Yearby ain't taking a backseat to anyone.

Gray might be the most physically gifted athlete on the offensive side of the ball.

Cronkrite, Scarlett, and Walton chomping at the bit as well.

Gus better get it rolling before he's taking on middle linebackers in the hole.

Cue the "It's Happening" gif again...

I think the scrimmages will be a little more telling, but there is a necessity to get Kaaya running with the 1s. However, you can tell the difference between Kaaya and Olsen. Olsen came in and most of the reports were that he was a deer in headlights. Kaaya has come in and grasped almost every aspect of the offense much quicker. So it's necessary to get him ready for Louisville.
No doubt that Olsen is at a disadvantage, but he is useless to them right how. These coaches have talked many times that it is a "one game at a time" season (except for the GT game, which they practice every week against that offense). Olsen apparently busted his *** to be a better player this summer, but keeps doing stupid sheitza off the field. If Olsen wasn't suspended, I think we definitely would have seen more Olsen with the 1s and Kaaya in a more reserve role. Olsen has no one but himself to allow Kaaya the reps and practice to take his spot.

Heaps also impressing with that bomb to Malcolm. It's encouraging to see (what looks like) two legitimate options at QB instead of just one guy sucking less than the other. Awesome to see that Kaaya looks like the real deal, and also awesome to see Heaps playing well too. Of course, this is all based on the very limited info available for us fans

Guess none of our people are there?
