DAY 3 PRACTICE THREAD

i'm not crowning the dude yet like a lot of you guys, but there are 3 things that stand out from that 6 second clip. one, he sells the play action play better than Stemo did in 4 years here, he looks off the defense with a quick look to the left and then he throws the ball sharply with accuracy and with proper pace. he sure looks the part in those 6 seconds.

I think most of us who are rational aren't crowning him.....in a perfect world he'd sit a year and learn.

The thing is it's becoming more and more clear that he's the best option we have (assuming Ryan Williams can't go). Unfortunately he might be thrown in before "he's ready"....but like I've already stated this kid looks poised way beyond his years. If the competition is anywhere close you simply cannot justify starting a retread like Heaps over a kid who has the look of a contributor out of the gate.

If Olsen's really competing, as Golden said yesterday, I don't see it. Passes are slow and off-target. Has flashed nothing so far.
I know practices just started but this is no bueno

This is the same guy who made Gray's screen seem like McGahee against FSU in 2002. I'm not buying what Porter is selling.

Was there video on this?

That and he really isn't that good at what he does.

Been on the Kaaya train man. For the ones not hopping on, watch. Advanced for his age.

Olsen wraps up practice with quite an overthrow. Today was a good day for Heaps.

I can't help but get excited as **** about Kaaya, even though we're only in Day 3. Dude is looking off receivers and sells the PA perfectly.

And D'Andre Johnson looked pretty smooth in that vine too.

I'm excited about Kaaya too, but I'm pretty confident that the best guy will start. Coaches want to win. So I'm on board with whoever gets the nod, no disappointment either way for me.

Gray's screen notwithstanding...I buy what he's saying about Olsen. He just doesn't impress me at all. Kid has major accuracy issues.

TBH, Olsen wasn't that good in the Under Amour All American Game. I remember being pumped to see this "elite" qb play and he struggled quite a bit in that game and I went away feeling less than impressed w/ him.
