I didn't like the Hope and Davis takes either (like Dortch because of Butch), but I don't think it's fair to make much of a comparison to Good. Good is a fast, raw athlete with ideal size. Hope and Davis weren't really raw, they just weren't elite CB recruits. Neither was a great athlete and both were undersized.
Good is definitely not a sure thing, but he has a ceiling that's far higher than either Hope or Davis.
And if the coaching staff has watched his game film, watched him practice, and sized him up in person, why not take him now if they like him? I have a problem with taking Plan B or C kids just to fill spots right before NSD. But the DB board is wide open now. We could very likely get higher ranked guys, but I don't see how it's a headscratcher for the coaches to have a different target list than what 247/Rivals say
