DAILY DEBATE: Who is the most overrated team in the country?

Michigan and it's not close. Lucky to get to 7 wins this year. So Cal comes in a close 2nd.

I think Oklahoma will be better this year as a team. Deion Burks is a game changer on offensive for them. However their schedule is tough. Their first SEC game is Tenn in Norman, then they go to Auburn, then Red River all before going to Ole Miss, Missouri and LSU. They'll have their chance to make some noise but good god that's brutal.

I liked Will Howard for UM but not if I'm trying to win a Natty and their OL still stinks.

Agree with UGA however I think their defense is still going to be sick. plus they added Etienne to the backfield
Etienne we already know what he is. That's a depth piece not much of an addition in my eyes. I have questions about alot of the sec this year. I don't think bama will do well with Milroe in daboer system. I'm not impressed by ole miss and dart as good as he is, known to have brain farts. Tenn is stacking the deck but I don't think the defense is where it needs to be in the sec and Nico is still a relatively unknown commodity to have clear expectations for him. Would not be surprised at all to see either missou (who I'm curious can sustain the success they built last year once teams have more film on them)or Texas win sec this year. I'd say Texas for sure if I thought they were built for that level of physicality. Cause that's all I'm willing to give both big 10 & sec is they're built for physical play. To me big 10 hands down is top to bottom the best conference out there. Will get even better inside of 2 years

Painful to say, but Miami. Yeah, some really nice new toys & we’re all feeling good, but don’t want the hype or preseason BS until we display consistent play & toughness on the field. Need to come out ****ed & hungry.

WHY EVERYONE KEEPS SAYING THIS?.

WHAT YALL KNOW ABOUT GT OTHER THAN THEM BEATING US?. HELP ME OUT
The unknown is if gt just thrived on being overlooked or if they actually can build on what they put together last year. Yes it's a given we should've won. However after they fired the DC they actually put together a decent team. Now is that because no one expected anything out of them or is it who they are. Guess we'll see. To expect any college kids to travel to Ireland and put on a good showing might be a lil extreme in my opinion. Guess it just is dependent on when travel days are. Probably like a bowl game and you're a week out. Sucks for their next game though. Lol

LSU. Think their Defensive is pretty questionable, and they lost two 1st round WRs and the Hesiman QB.

And I’d expect them to lose at least 2 of same 3 games they lost last year - Bama and Ole Miss. though they do get both at home this year.

Them vs USC week1 should be pretty interesting. But other than those 3 I named, they may lose to OU as well. they Get UF on road near end of schedule when their season may already be off rails.

I think they likely lose 3-4 max. But I don’t think they’ll be as good as their ranking will likely dictate.

Ohio State ain’t got no quarterback man

And their OC is a bum

Good luck
Their OC definitely ain't no bum. BUT he's a system guy that needs all the right pieces in place. In order for them to succeed that means Jeremiah, innis and probably another 1 or two are hitting the portal first thing smoking. They're dependent on run game and short routes. That's where chip sucks. He doesn't switch up what's he's calling for nobody & I don't see his pieces on the field this year at all. That QB job will be either sayin (and he ain't no chip kelly QB either which is why he wants out)or Noland's or even browns (who's probably the most like a chip kelly QB they have)by mid season

Replacing lots of starters and talent at OL, LB, RB, and the secondary.

Im also not high on Denbrock at OC or Leonard at QB.

I’ll add I think they’re probably 12-15th best team. Just not 7th.
As much as I hate those pedophiles I'm curious how Leonard will look over there. As of now I think he's nothing but a game manager. But who's the last Notre Dame QB who was anything more than that

I had the misfortune of watching many OSU games last year

His playcalling was laughable at times. People thought Dawson was bad, check on some Day choices on short yardage situations

Our fans would have lost their minds, and it’s why their fans have turned on him

(Bum was a bit of hyperbole for sure)

You forgetting chip kelly came over this off-season. He's the oc now & opposed to before when Hartline was oc in title alone chip kelly ain't never gonna be in that role. It will be his offense which makes me think even more it'll be a **** show waiting to happen(even with a simple schedule)cause u know day will be hands on still. Just can't see that working out well for them.

Notre Dump….them and the Cowgirls are always at the top of any overrated list….

I think they should still be up near the top, but I wouldn’t be completely shocked if Texas wound up like 10-2, which doesn’t sound bad but that would mean a real lack of statement wins. Losing those monsters at defensive tackle isn’t going to be easy to replace, and they brought in transfers that should be able to replicate it to an extent but losing your top 5 in receiving yards to the NFL, including a tight end in Sanders that I thought was as dangerous as anyone other than Bowers last year, could be more difficult than people are giving credit.

Way too many cooks in the kitchen imo

The answer is usually the same every preseason - Notre Dame and Penn State.
When Wisconsin is ranked higher than 15, count them in too.

This MOST overrated is probably the sister-banging slapdix in Tally this year.

That's a big IF.... and I personally still wouldn't have them rated that high.
I know Utah also calls itself the U but he didn't go to UHealth for the surgery. It's been 18 months.

Whitt will coach circles around that league. Utah plays two ranked teams and one is Arizona (new HC). They could be 11-1 IF he stays healthy
