DAILY DEBATE: Who is the most overrated team in the country?

I have to agree. Almost every year Miami is ranked to begin the season and ends up winning 6-8 games.
This will be an unpopular opinion, but the argument can be made that it's Miami. 7-6 a year ago and we haven't proven anything yet. Show me that something is different on the field. I need to see it. Looking good on paper means nothing
It’s the on field performance of the transfer portal players that they added - Ward, Martinez, Brown - plus another year of seasoning for a good young core.

It’s the strongest Miami roster since 2005, and probably fields the best quarterback since 2002.

I’m not denying that this roster is one of the most talented in years. But until I’m shown otherwise, Miami is one of the most overrated teams to begin the season.

So should Texas and even Oklahoma
Oklahoma is gonna spend the season getting skull ****ed this year. If we're being honest uga has questions with their offense. Everything they did centered around bowers. How do they answer that with the oc they have last year id be concerned. OSU I think will struggle in chip Kelly's system. Where they get lucky is with their schedule this year

I think Oklahoma will be better this year as a team. Deion Burks is a game changer on offensive for them. However their schedule is tough. Their first SEC game is Tenn in Norman, then they go to Auburn, then Red River all before going to Ole Miss, Missouri and LSU. They'll have their chance to make some noise but good god that's brutal.

I liked Will Howard for UM but not if I'm trying to win a Natty and their OL still stinks.

Agree with UGA however I think their defense is still going to be sick. plus they added Etienne to the backfield

Based off of the coaches poll it's Florida State. If you compare Miami to Florida State, Miami is better by a good margin, mainly because of offense. If you combined all of the yards this season's fsu's recevers had last year, it's less than 3 of what miami's receivers had last year. I know I worded it weird but Miami's returning production at receiver is miles above Florida State. I don't trust them at offense.

FSU lost a lot of production but IMO, they have a fairly easy schedule which may help them look a little better than they are. So don't be surprised if they hang in the top 10,15 for a little while.

After GT in Ireland, they get BC, Memphis and Cal at home. Then @SMU. Clemson at home. Then @Duke. Then @ us. UNC at home. @Notre Dame. Then Charleston Southern and UF at home.

Painful to say, but Miami. Yeah, some really nice new toys & we’re all feeling good, but don’t want the hype or preseason BS until we display consistent play & toughness on the field. Need to come out ****ed & hungry.

Think the rankings are pretty fair honestly.. outside of Ohio St being noticeably too high. Rankings based on recent history more so than potential. Can’t argue that.

There are a few there to choose from but when in doubt

FACK THE FLORIDA SCUMINOLES
