I wouldn’t say a DT and RB3 are a must. Those two positions are dependent on spring performances. We have talent in that DT room. Also, Pringle coming in the spring will be very beneficial. Also CWH will be fighting for reps

2 starting Wrs? We recruited good talent in the last few classes, so you can kiss some of those guys goodbye if we want this. Backup Ots, De's seem like a waste of space too me, unless Blount, Mcconothy, Lowe, Bryant and Lightfoot are complete busts. RB depth is dependent on CWH's performance. Idk who we'd even get as a backup QB post spring but I guess that's fine?

I can't name a single player outside of Francis that should warrant this level of security. If competition forces someone to leave then bye.

With that logic, you should just recruit a small group of developmental guys in high school and just prioritize your roster rebuild in the portal every single year. OSU, Bama, Georgia, Texas and Oregon do that right? They really seem to prioritize the portal instead of developing their own high school talent

7 straight games, maybe 8 with the ACC championship game will test the health of this team, and the playoffs is a war of attrition.

Last years team was on the lucky side of minimal injuries. You never know when the injury bug will happen

If we want to go down that route, it's fine by me. Just don't complain when we lose guys those high profile recruits we just got because we went in a different direction. Carr and Trader don't want limited snaps this season and spend a lot of their time on the bench
