Just trying to spark some conversation. It’s a long summer.

Common sense says leave FM at RT.

But he would be a crazy pulling guard. Him and Anez would be able to dominate the interior with superior punch, strength and athleticism.

If we have another tackle that can step up, I'm all for moving him to LG. You just don't want it to devolve into one of those "it if aint broke, don't break it" type of scenarios.

We are in a unique situation where we have more options at Tackle than Guard and both our starting tackles probably would be better at guard for betterment of team but coach already said they dont want to move the LT around anymore so Mauigoa would be the ideal choice but you know how that goes..

Whatever makes the best 5. I trust Mirabal to figure it out. We’ll be better at OL than last season.

I don’t mind what position he plays. I just want him to clean up the 3 false starts a game.

Depends on a couple factors.

Is Markell Bell, Samson Okanlola or Matt McCoy an upgrade? Only the coaches know right now.

Has Mauigoa improved his pass protection where he won’t need as much help as he needed last year? He was great for a freshman but he was also our worst lineman. Which is totally understandable considering his experience. Can he handle quicker edges one on one consistently? Kid is a beast run blocker.

Tackles pull all the time. Dart, GT counter, tackle trap, wide sweep

In a perfect world both rivers and francis would be at guard but if we don’t have anyone to hold it down at tackle then we can’t just move them just because. Both will be guards in the nfl 100%

And lets hope they pass protect better this year without as much max protection as last year
