I feel pretty confident that the offense will be vastly improved. My biggest concern, or worry, continues to be...What happens when opposing offenses decide to line up week after week and run the ball right up the gut and right at us? Will we be able to stop it? We’re absolutely loaded with edge guys and pressure on the QB on obvious passing downs should be one of our major strength, but we still need more size and depth at DT. It’s a vital piece for any program hoping to compete for NC’s. That’s why I really wanted to land guys like Rogers, Malone,etc. out of the portal.

NT is the only concern. I would say DT (3tech) is a strength. Even with the concern at NT, I expect the improvement at LB to cover up the weaknesses at NT not to mention the strengths at all three other DL spots.

People will get fixated on the amount of rushes or short passes, etc. I just want dominance and points, however it comes.

If we’re bullying teams up front, then run it down their throat until they stop it sorta like we did to A&M (until we kept shooting ourselves in the foot). If they can’t cover us in the secondary or they’re too slow when we get to the perimeter, then attack that. If their LBs or safeties can’t cover our TE’s, rip them apart.

Well I think it’s safe to say. These kids don’t want to see DINK & DUNK BALL CONTROL offense. Why? The winning programs aren’t doing that. They actually VERY VERY aggressive offensively. So why can’t we be with a power run game. If that’s what Mario wants.

I don’t consider UNC better than us. We’ve had them beat NUMEROUS times over the past few years. Just had a bonehead play here and there. At crucial times.
