Im just happy to not have CIS depression last all summer. And have something positive to get us to fall camp then the season. Not predicting anything big but im optimistic. Might get my tickets back. They been calling and mailing me every week

This has always been the case with Miami we just needed to give these kids a reason to come here because the majority of them want to play in Miami but if we suck and aren't doing what we need to do($$$) they are going to leave and I don't blame them.

Which opponents offensive line concerns you the most?

Right now I think the obvious answer is the Criminoles. They ran for almost two-fitty and averaged almost 5 yards a carry against us last year. When you look at the rush defense last year we weren’t horrible(we were in the 50’s-60’s in most rush defense stats) but I’m hoping that improves some this year. In my opinion, the problems on D last year can basically be summed up with three stats:

Opps. Yards per play- 80th
Oops. 3rd down conv. %- 100th
Penalties per game- 87th

I know a lot of people harped on how bad our offense was last year, and boy was it bad, but the D wasn’t much better. The good news is most of those problems are related to lack of discipline or mental lapses and can hopefully be fixed.
