So basically Franklin and McCoy would be the possibilities?

Unless Cahlil Cummings gets the go ahead with Hayward drama coming to an end? Although he may also be behind Mincey who is in town, and while I think that is huge…I doubt he pops this wkmd
 
What would we consider a good weekend? I feel like if we can get 3 or 4 guys to silently commit then it was a great event. I do think we need to have at least 1 announced by the end of the weekend though to just give the fan base some more meat on the bone.

I don’t think last years BBQ was used as a big recruiting weekend for uncommitted guys. Yes they had some uncommitted guys attend but it was mostly to:

- lock in the commits (we had a big end of June and July as far as commits are concerned)
- get working on 2024 guys

The first strategy seemed to work in building bonds within that 2023 class. Unfortunately, looks like the focus on 2024 guys hasn’t yielded much.

If this years BBQ plays a role in us locking in Kam, Laulea, and flipping Mincey then that’s a clear big win for us. But doesn’t seem like any of these guys are close to announcing. And the focus seems to be similar…lock in 2024 commits and get started on 2025.

It’s premature but idk man this BBQ seems like a dud.

I think if we don't see a McCoy announcement in the next few days, it doesn't look great. It seems like such a lay-up.

Also shrimp make you ghey. At least according to one of Miamis former coaches.
