Outside of a handful of positions on either side of the ball where we have elite talent... (Bain, Maui...(#61) lol) everyone is replaceable.... did CY have some moments? For sure. Could he have been utilized better? For sure.... but dang people getting too emotional... Some will think this is cold hearted, oops, but all this does is clear up roster space to get better talent behind him pt.... CY will be what a senior next year? He will go to Georgia or something and have a lawrence cager type year, flash some moments where the board will erupt and say why df did we get rid of him... but he will finish for like 35 catches, 457 yds, and 3TD & we wont miss him. Give me our young wr's & the ny carr's of the world all day. I will admit CY did perform better than I thought he would have, but he's nothing elite. Restrepo leaving hurts way worse than a CY imo..... but you can make the argument restrepo isn't elite... yes he made solid plays but he never just housed one... & i say all this with restrepo probably my fav dawg on the team

If X returns, I expect Brashard hits the portal. Can't get both enough touches. X should enter the draft. Nothing he does next year is going to improve his draft position. The ball is going to get spread around and his production will drop.

Get a QB and then hit the portal plus what’s in the current class to cover the loses. Staff just needs to lock in the main piece quickly.

100%. If I’m Jacolby George, Xavier Restrepo, Brashard Smiff etc. I’m not tying my future to Emory Williams. We have to make sure these kids know that position is upgraded immediately. As in, today.

I guess all that "the team loves Emory" nonsense we heard from the TVD haters all season wasn't true... our starting WRs obviously don't believe in him if they're waiting to see who our transfer QB is before deciding to leave or stay.

Or maybe it's indicative to them of what Mario plans to do with our offense? Get a dynamic guy like Ward and it's indicating an aggressive offense. Get a conservative safe floor guy and it'll indicate more "bro ball".
