Colbie Young Portal

I think you meant TVD. You may be right, and he stays. Would welcome it! But there is no doubt his snap count is going down, and his target count is going WAY down. TVD used him as his primary on most throwing downs, and his safety check on nearly all the others. That's not happening in 2024. Plus, Brashard (if he sticks), Ray Ray and Washington are all seeing the field more.

As for Young, how do you know it wasn't mutual? Just because you're a starter in 2023 doesn't mean you're a starter in 2024. See Key'Shawn, Chantz, Jafari, Jakai Clark, Knighton, etc.
Yep, TVD.

I don’t know. Personally I thought Young was poised for a big season with a new QB at the healm.

Very good WR who got close to no looks when TVD was out. Also nobody looked good in the 3-4 games TVD was awful. Will play in the NFL and will do well at Georgia if thats where he lands. Could end up following TVD.

IMO he’s a solid receiver. I didn’t think we used him correctly this year. But he’s not very explosive. Reminded me a bit of LaRon Byrd. But this definitely hurts. Not catastrophic but he played **** near every snap this year and had a good season. Need someone on the outside to step up. Portal kid would be nice and continue to develop Horton to man that spot

This is Uuuuuuuuge!!!!🤯🤯

Not sure where you CLEARLY read that but Cribby sting comment is about recruiting which it seems is rudolph.
FFS, it’s CLEARLY in his posts. Feel free to read them instead of inaccurately posting again. Then maybe you’ll be sure. He’s also advised that there’s likely to be recruits that drop as well, maybe that’s where your confusion lies.

Good player. Just not close to a finished product. Still learning.

Hasn't developed enough to emerge from "role player", but was getting close. 18% marketshare of catches, 23% marketshare of receiving TDs. It was Jacolby George that kind of emerged and took a lot off of his plate in the offense.

Needs work on routes and getting separation on the stuff he does well. He can be a nice ACC WR and was at times, but not very consistent. Made some big plays for us when no one else was. Wish we could see the rest of his run here. He's a P5 WR, but lots of guys could give us what he gave us

he averaged <35ypg and <10ypc his last 5 games. pretty sure he's replaceable

Ya re: Restrepo I don't think there's anyway both Restrepo and B.Smith are not team next year. No way Smith sits another year, his senior year if X stays.

Agree. One of those will return - not both. X leaving is something I never thought I’d see but this is a new day in CFB. I can see him following TVD and the best choices for him at this time are Syracuse and Duke. I can see X bolting for that scenario.

CLEARLY says recruit but carry on

Seemed like a good hard working kid. I don't like to see him go. Ultimately how much it hurts will depend on who he is replaced with.
