You gotta be kidding me if Restrepo is following DVD. This kid is all Miami, always has been. I just can’t believe that.

As for Young, were we not one of the few teams that offered him? So now he dips once he showed out some. Just no integrity anymore. But that’s the game now. I hope these kids realize that the new clock rules really messed up every team as far number of snaps. That’s going to be a problem anywhere you go when it comes to fewer opportunities.

I don't understand the alarm here. As you note, we all should have expected and honestly embraced the changes.

TVD, Chaney, Flagg, Harvey, Young ... if Restrepo hits the portal ... these are all quality D1 players and representatives of the Miami program. But Mario was brought in to trade up. They're not Bernie Kosar, Edge, Vilma, Calais, or Dre. And while I'd welcome Restrepo back because he is a baller, he is not Santana Moss. So no matter how much we love them and root for them, Mario is right to replace them if he can find better talent. And he's finding better talent.

I'm loving the change. Young, George & Restrepo were roughly on par with Rambo, Harley and Key'Shawn Smith. Both groups were significant trade-ups from Harley, Pope & Wiggins. But we still need to take another step. Best of luck to Young. I hope he has a great final year and make a pro team!

The is is exactly why DMoney said wait until the dust settles before freaking out. Sounds like there is a plan to upgrade everywhere just need everyone to execute.

I think you meant TVD. You may be right, and he stays. Would welcome it! But there is no doubt his snap count is going down, and his target count is going WAY down. TVD used him as his primary on most throwing downs, and his safety check on nearly all the others. That's not happening in 2024. Plus, Brashard (if he sticks), Ray Ray and Washington are all seeing the field more.

As for Young, how do you know it wasn't mutual? Just because you're a starter in 2023 doesn't mean you're a starter in 2024. See Key'Shawn, Chantz, Jafari, Jakai Clark, Knighton, etc.

Alot worse? they helped us to a 7-5 record! we didn't get better but alot worse I'm not sure.

4-8?

I'm not saying we can't get better, but we better hit some home runs in the portal.

We are alot worse than when we walked off the field against BC.

Land Ward, Clark, some good safeties, a good WR we can be better.

Just wanted to see where Yu was going with this! Agree, we are worse right now! cuz, we lost vets and haven't replaced them yet.
