Been said cuz let the cat outta the bag. They didn't want nobody to know what was going on. I already heard things was being done on the low. They all talked about playing together, and this is close to being real.

If you post "inside info" and it's good news, everybody loves it.
Post some bad inside info and you immediately become a bad guy and an unreliable source.

We weren't getting trolled by the kids when the news was optimistic, now all of a sudden a group of teenagers has developed a master prank to get UM fans riled up.

How about this...

Be a grown man and stop acting like over-emotional little girls over the decisions of teenage kids. It's sad how worked up this **** gets some of you guys. Take every piece of information with a grain of salt, understand that recruiting is fluid, and let **** play out.

And you are...?

IN THE CASE OF THE AH4 ONLY

1.Parents want the kids to stay home
2. Parents said kids have final decision
3. It will factor into the decision what the parents want
4. It will not be the deciding factor for them
5. They have been close to the AH dl coach. Nobody knows if they still trust him with this info on where the stand. He could be in the troll if it is one.

Macho... appreciate the info whether you guy is deep plugged in or not.

I think if we get an OV we lock them down. The fizzle of their last visits plus the thought to put on for the U added to their parents wishes will be enough to get them here. Won’t be shocked either way but I am am Miami lean.

Macho, stop entertaining these people. We appreciate the info you’re bringing to the board

To everyone else - you can believe it or you can disagree. But stop hounding someone for bringing info to the board no matter what. Be the judge for yourself if you believe it or not and stop trying to belittle everyone who brings something up.

The problem with Macho's info is not Macho or the info. It is the posters here who hang on to any and every little piece of information that comes out from any source around those AH4 kids even if it is meaningless. The overreaction of posters to any piece of information, positive or negative and the "we appreciate your info please keep it coming" is what drives many to rush and post anything they hear. Of course, with the caveat that "they only conveying an opinion" of someone in their circle probably based on a casual conversation with a kid, a relative of the kid, or even a person of any association with the kid.

Again, who are you?

Surtain visiting Clemson this weekend

Rivals reporting that Surtain is home sick with the flu and won't take a visit this weekend. Not sure if true or not, but they speculate that this would hurt our chances of getting an OV on 2/2 if Surtain decides he really wants to make up that lost visit to Ohio State or Clemson.

AI reported like a week and a half ago that we were in the best position to get a visit in the first place.

Ivins just posted this article

American Heritage Scoop
There's no question that some folks in Coral Gables think that things are trending up with five-star cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. and trending down a bit with five-star cornerback Tyson Campbell. A trusted source said that the Hurricanes were somewhat surprised to see Surtain Jr. on campus last week for the men's basketball game against Duke, but at the same time not all that shocked as the U.S. Army All-American has been very receptive to recent conversations with Mike Rumph.

Both Rumph and Manny Diaz conducted an in-home visit with the Surtain family on Wednesday night. The buzz coming out of that meeting is that the Hurricanes will likely get Surtain Jr. on campus for an official visit the weekend before National Signing Day although that date isn't exactly locked in yet. One thing to note however is that Kerry Coombs (Surtain's primary recruiter at Ohio State) just accepted an NFL job which might take the Buckeyes out the running for an official visit in these final two weeks.

As for Campbell the folks at UM still remain optimistic. The plan as of early Wednesday morning is for the U.S. Army All-American to be on campus the weekend of Feb. 2 with his parents. Miami has saved the in-home visit with Mark Richt for next week and one contact connected to the recruitment thinks that could play a huge factor in the decision process. Remember last cycle Kai-Leon Herbert was dead-set on signing with Michigan until Richt sat in his living room and changed his mind. Georgia continues to feel good about where things stand.

Those close to Top300 linebacker/defensive end Andrew Chatfield believe that he remains torn between Miami and Florida. The good news however might be the fact that both of his parents want him at UM. Some also think that Ja'Juan Seider's decision to leave Dan Mullen's staff could ultimately swing things in favor of the Hurricanes as he was heavily involved in Chatfield's recruitment. Which also might be the case when it comes to Nesta Silvera. The Top100 defensive tackle spent this past weekend in Gainesville, but we have yet to hear anything that suggests he's wavering on his verbal pledge to Miami. He's expected to join Campbell in Coral Gables next weekend. We heard that Rumph and Diaz got plenty of face time with mom at AMH on Wednesday.

The parent thing is irrelevant.

ALL of their parents want them to stay home. If parents play a big part in their decisions then we'll get all 4.

So, parents are irrelevant in the kids decision making process? But in other post, you've mentioned that coaches, including yourself, know everything about their players. By that logic, are you saying coaches are more relevant than the parents? If so, that in a nutshell, is the problem with the recruiting world of South Florida. That's exactly how these kids get manipulated and taken advantage of, over and over again. I'm not coming at you, I just want to know.

I never said parents are irrelevant in the decision making process. Read my last post regarding that issue.

I saw it. I posted prior to reading your post. Like I mentioned, my intent was not to come at you. Just wanted to understand what you were suggesting. Thanks for clarifying.

On a different note, I think your guy is getting trolled pretty hard.

We shall see in a couple of weeks.

I know you weren't coming at me. It's all good. I probably should've done a better job of clarifying it the first time.

I hope you're right.

I don't know what it is with you, bro. You obviously have a thing for me.

That's a retarded *** comparison. That is not even remotely close to how some of these guys act on here. Saying "fvck" or calling this recruitment a "disaster" is not the same as people throwing shots at me, coming up with alternate scenarios and conspiracies and getting all worked up over every single piece of information.

Now stop following me around. You fvckin' quote **** near every post I make.

Dude, I've been with you as far as smh at guys attacking you for bringing information to the board as you've been here a long time and have real coaching contacts being a coach yourself.

That said, you blanketly think all parents are irrelevant in these decisions? How well do you know the relationships and dynamics in each of these families?

No, my man, I'm not saying parents don't matter. I'm saying that him mentioning that the parents want them to stay home is irrelevant. (because all of their parents want them to stay home)

Know what I'm trying to say?

He's using that as a bit of positive info regarding Chatfield, but you could say the same thing for all of their parents. (yet we're still hearing that they're leaning elsewhere)

Knowing what we know, it APPEARS that the parents desires aren't playing a major role in their decisions. If it was then they'd all be Miami leans.

Yeah. I appreciate all the info you bring. I knew there would be a bunch of chaos and confusion in the final Sprint so I'm in wait and see mode with the final visits and then NSD.

I'm hoping Franchise is right about this. It's weird to see talk of Nesta flipping to the 3-4 Gaytors and Chatfield picking them too. Were that to happen, there would need to be changes made in the defensive side of recruiting. No way around it but I'm not going there unless we fail on NSD.

i havent seen nesta talk ANYWHERE but macho. they just visited him yesterday and ivins update is the complete opposite of what macho was suggesting.

Macho didn't suggest anything. Macho posted a text message from his buddy who coaches at AH.

Beardy typing in the third person is best Beardy by a mile!

Yep.

I know Mullin isn’t planning to prioritize SFLa, so this Nesta interest came out of left field, seeing as floridas whole staff is gone.

Not sure what Nesta will due but this would validate what Machos saying as far as the sudden Gator interest.
