Beardy getting sucked in by the AH smokescreen. Now, even Nesta is trying to fool people into thinking he’s legit considering that dump UF to be a block eater in a 3-4.

These dudes are coming to UM. It gets more clear the more they mess with people to throw them off the trail.

I shared your same sentiments earlier today in another thread. Below is my post

"If Nesta indeed told Macho's source that he is thinking about flipping to Florida, that really confirms it for me that AH4 is definitely together on the "trolling" act. I absolutely love it! THERE IS NO WAY THAT NESTA WILL FLIP TO FLORIDA.

You can label me as a homer or me just being naive, but I think these guys have methodically masterminded a trolling scheme, in which it is clearly working to perfection. I think the second Chatfield received his offer from Miami, the reality of all 4 of them playing together in college, was no longer just a pipe dream.

I'm looking forward to seeing all 4 of them don Miami hats on 02/07."

You're saying that they're messing with their own coach?

Ok.

That would be great.

You act like a D-Line coach is some deity. Nesta would mess with anyone.

These dudes have not told ANYONE anything concrete. Yet, they're all confiding in the DL coach? The same DL coach, who is clearly giving away their secrets, and those secrets are then being posted on a big open forum that these kids read. There's no doubt at all that Nesta reads this.

I didn't see that, Poet. But I agree with it completely. It's exactly the way I see it.

We know Nesta reads this forum. And we know he saw Beardy's "Le Work" post where Beardy revealed a bunch of secrets that the kids told the Heritage DL coach.

Does anyone with half a brain think Nesta would then confide secrets with that same guy who is spewing info to Beardy? These dudes are playing all the info hounds.

Yep - someone, I think Pete, confirmed that he reads this board back when he committed - or around that time.

It's important that people understand what the living legend is saying. Kids aren't dumb and uninterested in their recruitment. They spend time on here too.

There's no question that some folks in Coral Gables think that things are trending up with five-star cornerback Patrick Surtain Jr. and trending down a bit with five-star cornerback Tyson Campbell. A trusted source said that the Hurricanes were somewhat surprised to see Surtain Jr. on campus last week for the men's basketball game against Duke, but at the same time not all that shocked as the U.S. Army All-American has been very receptive to recent conversations with Mike Rumph.

Both Rumph and Manny Diaz conducted an in-home visit with the Surtain family on Wednesday night. The buzz coming out of that meeting is that the Hurricanes will likely get Surtain Jr. on campus for an official visit the weekend before National Signing Day although that date isn't exactly locked in yet. One thing to note however is that Kerry Coombs (Surtain's primary recruiter at Ohio State) just accepted an NFL job which might take the Buckeyes out the running for an official visit in these final two weeks.

As for Campbell the folks at UM still remain optimistic. The plan as of early Wednesday morning is for the U.S. Army All-American to be on campus the weekend of Feb. 2 with his parents. Miami has saved the in-home visit with Mark Richt for next week and one contact connected to the recruitment thinks that could play a huge factor in the decision process. Remember last cycle Kai-Leon Herbert was dead-set on signing with Michigan until Richt sat in his living room and changed his mind. Georgia continues to feel good about where things stand.

Those close to Top300 linebacker/defensive end Andrew Chatfield believe that he remains torn between Miami and Florida. The good news however might be the fact that both of his parents want him at UM. Some also think that Ja'Juan Seider's decision to leave Dan Mullen's staff could ultimately swing things in favor of the Hurricanes as he was heavily involved in Chatfield's recruitment. Which also might be the case when it comes to Nesta Silvera. The Top100 defensive tackle spent this past weekend in Gainesville, but we have yet to hear anything that suggests he's wavering on his verbal pledge to Miami. He's expected to join Campbell in Coral Gables next weekend. We heard that Rumph and Diaz got plenty of face time with mom at AMH on Wednesday.

The parent thing is irrelevant.

ALL of their parents want them to stay home. If parents play a big part in their decisions then we'll get all 4.

Some parent have more "influence" than others, each situation is different.

Parents still factor in, sometimes it doesn't matter like Alex Collins, or sometimes like Jobe they really matter

Their recruitment wasn't the "event" that the Chatfield/Silvera/Surtain/Campbell recruitment has been. Didn't feel the need to talk to him about them last year.

If that is your reasoning so be it, but plenty of people were interested in whether we would continue to completely whiff at Heritage during the last cycle. Nesta must really love Florida or have another visit planned this week that hasn't been announced yet because he doesn't appear to be a 3-4 DT.

The Herbert/Slaton recruitment didn't have this much drama. I talked to him after they committed to ask him how good they were, but that's it.

This is a total different situation.

Your full of complete cr@p! You didn’t say anything last year because you didn’t know anything. There was hella drama on here if we were gonna get the AH o lineman and you were nowhere to be found. Obviously cane hater chad Wilson is your source which as skewed as it gets. Get out of here with your fake sources! It’s funny how Pete, Ivan’s, lake or stock haven’t said any of this bs your spewing about Nesta. Fake news!

Mannnnn go take your over-emotional girl-shouldered a$$ on somewhere. Who the fvck are you anyway?

I’m just a regular dude calling you out on your BS! Funny how Ivins who’s actually cued In, is saying the exact opposite of what youre spewing. Give me break and stop getting your info from street agents. Lol

Dude, I've been with you as far as smh at guys attacking you for bringing information to the board as you've been here a long time and have real coaching contacts being a coach yourself.

That said, you blanketly think all parents are irrelevant in these decisions? How well do you know the relationships and dynamics in each of these families?

No, my man, I'm not saying parents don't matter. I'm saying that him mentioning that the parents want them to stay home is irrelevant. (because all of their parents want them to stay home)

Know what I'm trying to say?

He's using that as a bit of positive info regarding Chatfield, but you could say the same thing for all of their parents. (yet we're still hearing that they're leaning elsewhere)

Knowing what we know, it APPEARS that the parents desires aren't playing a major role in their decisions. If it was then they'd all be Miami leans.

So, parents are irrelevant in the kids decision making process? But in other post, you've mentioned that coaches, including yourself, know everything about their players. By that logic, are you saying coaches are more relevant than the parents? If so, that in a nutshell, is the problem with the recruiting world of South Florida. That's exactly how these kids get manipulated and taken advantage of, over and over again. I'm not coming at you, I just want to know.

Just need to survive this upcoming weekend with no big announcements. Goals for this weekend - keep Nesta committed and TC/PS2/Chatfield uncommitted. Then, get CMR to do in-home visits early in the week, lock in their OV's for the weekend of 2/2, and then it's on us to secure them on the coveted final visit weekend. Go canes!

THEY HAVEN'T TOLD MY GUY ANYTHING CONCRETE EITHER.

Nothing that's being said is concrete. I've already stated this. If you read the texts, there's nothing definitive about them, just what he's hearing/feeling.
WHICH I'VE ALREADY SAID A HANDFUL OF TIMES.

I never said parents are irrelevant in the decision making process. Read my last post regarding that issue.
