Chippy Locker Room

Of course this calls into question most of the hysteria regarding recruiting.....but hey, they're all world if they go elsewhere, they suck a horses *** if they commit....the way of Cane World.

this, people keep acting like Lewis was some elite WR, he only avg 9.7 a catch before the injury. I liked his quickness in the slot tho, I hope he can get that back

also agree with this. Dude was not some special talent. He was an alright wr.

Well I certainly remember the hysteria about Lewis on the recruiting board. Now he's a JAG. Fascinating stuff n Cane World as usual.

Agreed. Malcom had that horrific injury in only his second game of his collegiate career. The type of injury that forces you to go to the other room so you don't have to see it. People with more than half a brain knew it would take him quite a long time to get back to being 100%. I think he's fine as a receiver. Those that are calling him a JAG and overrated are idiots themselves. Go ahead and neg now, not one **** will be given.

Yeah, the guys who HAVE SEEN HIM LIVE IN HIGH SCHOOL are idiots for calling him slightly overrated by our fans, but the people who anointed him without seeing **** are the geniuses.

Yeah guy.

Ah, the classic person around here.

All I read from people are excuses when it comes to players choosing other colleges and why they aren't UM material. Then those players blow up at other schools. When a player stays home or simple comes to UM and doesn't perform like the others who go elsewhere....just another JAG that could easily be seen as JAG back in high school.

How the **** can you can call him a JAG of all people on the team at this point, after THAT injury and his come back?

When the **** are people on here going to learn that these people who think they can evaluate on here...simply can't?

Feel as if I'm around a bunch of Alabama crybabies. WAH WAH WAH.

Look around. We aren't a team necessarily full of JAGs (we have plenty, but calling him one at this point is just so 70 IQ-esque)., but ******* Christ the issue with our team right now has a lot more to do than simply the roster full of players we have.

It's so obvious, unless your are oblivious.

Talking about a moment where a thread has really irritated.

No wonder anyone with intelligence has deserted this Grassy 4.2-hole.

Dude, pull yourself together, snatch the panties out of your ******, calm down and read. (and comprehend)

I'm not saying he's a JAG, but he's never been the super stud that our fans (who have never seen him live) have billed him to be.

Maybe you missed this part, jackass...

I COACHED AGAINST MIRAMAR SEVERAL TIMES WHEN LEWIS WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL...and nobody gives more honest assessments than I do. My evaluation skills are pretty **** accurate. Shall we go back and look at what I've been saying about Coley for the last couple years after coaching against him?

The only people who anointed Lewis as a stud were the recruit joke-sniffers who don't even see these kids play live. Lewis couldn't shake my kids, for crying out loud. Fast forward a few years later and he's running into the back of Offensive Linemen at Miami.

STFU.

Lewis by far is the 2nd most talented WR on our team after Coley. Before his Injury he was on the way to a very close impersonation of Reggie Wayne. This board won't be around in a year if the stupidity continues.

LOL. Based on what?

When and where have you seen him play?

I'm stupid because I'VE SEEN THE KID PLAY FOR YEARS and have a different opinion than some?

Good logic.

Yea think to much of yourself and your evaluation.

Yes, I often think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to football. Guilty as charged.

Usually I'm right though, which is why people gang up on me the few times that I've been wrong. People like you sit in the bushes waiting to pounce, waiting for your opportunity to say "Ha, I told you so, you know-it-all!"

Fact is...

1. I know more about football than most on here.
2. I've seen the kid play live many times. (coached against Miramar every year)
3. I have a valid opinion.

Take it or leave it. It certainly holds more value than the opinion of people who've never seen him play.

What's funny is...

The reaction to opinions depends on A) who's saying it, and B) if it follows the majority.

My opinion was valid when I was talking about Coley for the last 3 years and how awesome he was, and how he torched my defense for a winning TD. But, now I have an opinion that is against the majority when I say that Lewis isn't as special as our fans make him out to be. All of a sudden I'm an idiot.

I ******' talked about my experience with Coley and got 1,293,939 likes but people are crying blasphemy with my opinion of Lewis. I'm sure people love my personal experience with KC McDermott cause I said he was awesome and a savage on the field. Give a negative assessment of a UM recruit/player though.... *tisk tisk*

This ******' site man. I swear. Lmao

I cant lie when Malcolm Lewis caught that screen pass and ran right into the back of an offensive lineman..I was surprised as the next man... That showed a severe lack of athleticsm... not a good sign...

That was cause of his injury dude! C'mon!

You got me sold, Wildcat. He was never going to the Top-Dog of the WR's in Caneland.

Ay, I ain't sellin' nothin'. He just never showed me anything in high school. He can still turn out to be a baller here. I just never thought he was gonna be anything more than a solid college player. So far I've been correct on most of my predictions regarding players I've seen in high school, hopefully in this case I'll be wrong.

Wildcat,

Here is my evaluation of you. You have 1,700 posts on a free message board that has been in existence for about 3 years. That is an average of almost 5 posts per day, every day since its inception. You claim to be an excellent coach and talent evaluations. Football is a tremendously prosperous business. The free market dictates that you don't know your *** form your elbow because if you had 1/20th of the knowledge as you proclaim, somebody would pay you a bunch of money to do it for a living and you wouldn't be on a message board every day trying to build credibility.

I know plenty of people with more experience than you who think your evaluation of Malcolm Lewis is ridiculous. Take their job or STFU.

The end.

Getting coaching gigs doesn't work like that, buddy. I know you don't know this, but it's the truth. Getting a college coaching job isn't about how much you know, it's about WHO you know and where you been.

Friggin' half my coaching staff coached in college before they ended up at Western High School, so there goes your logic. I don't know who lied and told you that college coach are all-knowing. I know guys working in college right now that will tell you that's completely false.

****, there's high school coaches in Texas that would dance circles around college coaches.

You think none of these college coaches started in high school? I'm still a young coach.

If you disagree with the things I say, or are implying that I don't know half of what I claim, then prove me wrong. When football discussions arise, shut me up. You can't though, and you won't, cause you're one of the people that throws jabs and insults instead. It's easy to say "You're just a know-it-all and slapdick high school coach that don't know ****." Anybody can do that. How many people can SHOW that person that they don't know **** and put them in their place? I've been waiting for years. I'm objective and open-minding and would be all ears. Be my guest.
