Changes Are Coming

I told you mofos, certain teams have certain traditions. This passive *** defense is not Miami style. We do not have the talent but let us losing attackng and hitting the **** outa people. I have no idea what scheme we are using btw

From an "inside source' the official name of the defensive scheme is: "3-4 bend but try not to break while we hope they make a mistake gap 1 hold"

Well we broke Dawg.

yup...back in 2011 when dorito was hired

I'd just like us to be more aggressive, we're getting our **** pushed in anyway, take more risks

Actually, we ran a passive defense when we started our championship run under Schnellenberger. We ran a gap control 5-2 until JJ took over. Our defense was very good. We just executed it very well. I don't know what's going on with this ****. I think we just are feeling the effects of some very poor recruiting years.

Hey, Golden wants to go all the way and nothing it going to stand in his way... I'm also glad the BOT is going to remind him of who is in charge... Tons of effort has been put into resurrecting this football program again! They will not be denied and neither will we!!! Go canes!

I think the Upperclassmen talent on the defensive side of the ball just isn't very good...To be honest I think all of the Upperclassmen are mediocre at best...Not trying to bash them or anything but they aren't elite level talents...

Thanks, Randy...

I would also like to see AG go after T Rob for the DBs too especially with him being a Miami native and having an aggressive coaching style and excellent recruiter

You have to have the insticnt and twitch which these u players have none of. Even with our problems they have none

Yes, no Sapp, no Medearis...no athletic ability. Very, very ordinary athletes. Not sure scheme would exploit such talents anyway.

After this sh*tshow, I would hope there is INTENSE pressure on Golden to do what needs to be done. The one bright spot of this disaster is that this should make things VERY easy. Yeah, its his buddy, but there is absolutely NO way to excuse this or defend this. He simply cant. ****, if Donofrio is ANY kind of friend, he should resign IMMIDIATELY. Golden needs to ask BLake for some money, and go out and bring in a top notch defensive staff. Obviously we arent going to poach a top DC from a big program, but maybe a highly regarded NFL position coach, or a highly regarded DC from a smaller program. WE also need to clean house with the assistants. Franklin needs to go ASAP. And IMO, Barrow should be moved to Special Teams and taken away from LBs.

By highly regarded nfl position coach, you mean. Jim Leavitt?

losing to Duke broke me yesterday....especially the way Miami lost....As much as I thnk i used to like Golden....if the only way to get rid of his boy D onfrio and his bend and break defensive philosophy that plays a soft zone on 3rd and 4 all game long, is to get rid of Mr. Golden....it pains me to say this but Golden its been real. We cant allow our beloved program to be embarrassed year after year because you want to maintain a **** friendship. If he is a friend he will resign himself and allow you a chance to succeed. He isnt the only problem for sure but heis definitely the biggest problem. I love Golden for guiding us through this NCA craziness, but C'mon Al... Miami athletes dont need to play bend but dont break defense every game like your old Penn State glory teams that D'Onfrio played on back in the 80's did...Thats not how its done in Miami....This is the reason you are losing. coahing this soft zone crap, is it ironic that the defense looks soft as twinkie filling year after year that you have been here.... Stephn Morris actually played ok yesterday but i think my disappointment in him is a product of the media telling me how much he has improved from years past and i dont see the development in his demeanor and playmaking ability....he could have the skill, but he doesnt display it consitently. And coach Coley its his first year so I want to see his growth. And if it seems like i have given up on the rest of this season….thats because "Duke" just beat us for a coastal division championship….smh. Barrow seems like he would be fine with the LB's but this soft scheme is killing everyone….and makes everyone look suspect!

Jim Leavitt would be a perfect fit. imho Excellent recruiter with Florida recruiting relationships. It would be the perfect homecoming and he's running the same thing (LB's) in S.F. right now. The guys a ******* BEAST! I would take him tomorrow over anyone we could afford and he's a Florida boy.

Looking at Bradley's record. He produced some elite defenses. I think he would be an exceptional hire.

And he could help Barrow with the LBs

True. We have 1 starting linebacker who could start on a top 25 team. One safety who could but hasn't been 100%...and a safety who couldn't start on famu getting tons of burn. Along with our slime, we don't have much. CB is our only decent position.

Someone explain to me how for the love of God we had 2 deep safeties in a goal line situation yesterday.

And while you're at it please explain to me why our outside linebackers are being asked to continually flex out into space to cover opposing slot receivers.

Dorito realizes this isn't soccer and you get more than 3 subs right?
