CB Recruiting

Howard could've been an all ACC #2 CB in Diaz's scheme but he really lacked athleticism compared to the other two for the NFL. He had no chance being a 4.6-4.7 press corner and his game didn't translate to S.

I agree with this statement, but I don't see how it pertains to the conversation.

Are you kidding? Tracy Howard was coached by the worst DC in the history of CFB and still ended up floating around the league for 3 years. If Redwine or Jackson were playing under NO D their careers would have ended at the U.

Agree. I did happen to see Howard a couple times when I was in SF, I didn't think he was the best D back on the team, never mind the #1 player. I do agree he had the worst coaching we've ever seen at the U. The kid that played Safety I believe was much faster and was in on a bunch of plays. I think his name was Henderson but I'm probably wrong can't find him in the top100.

Rayshawn Jenkins? Agree for sure. He was not the most talented kid at all and definitely not the number 1 kid. No question about that.

Could have been Jenkins. What I do remember is, he was fast and hit like a truck on one play. One of those wow plays, you wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end.

I really missed out on that when I was at school. I didn't even think to go watch some of the local HS games.

You were probably having to much fun and obviously studying. One of the last games I saw before I left was Duke in the Muck. I said to myself I have just seen the best HS running back I will ever see in person. I had tears in my eyes the place was electric. I never miss a SF team that comes out here unless we're traveling.

This is very true lol. I have heard that he was unbelievably dominant in HS. I would have loved to see him play live. I will see if I can catch a SF team if they ever play some of the NJ power houses. Just a quick drive over the bridge.

Big part of it, but there are teams in the B1g, pac, ACC, and Big 12 that drop bags yet they are still head and shoulder above them. They landed more 5 stars than all the other conferences combined.

The stars are based off of the fna base and subscriptions. The sec has the most rabid fan bases ...hence the most "5 stars" once you realize that you care less about "stars" because i **** sure dont.

I remember when we were on top....and every one we offered became 5 stars...remember a few bums like Charlie Jones being 5 stars...but anyway
