CB Recruiting

I seriously do not understand our lack of commits at CB. Could anyone provide any insight into this? We have the defense and our DB coaches have done an excellent job so what exactly is the problem? We need numbers. We are in a position to offer early pt to standout players. Why the lack of interest? With the style of defense we play and the monster DL we are building you would think that CBs would be begging to be a part of this class. I believe that many names will pop up during the season as they always do but to only have 1 commit(Hodges) at this time is troublesome. Thoughts? Am I overreacting?

1. Not many great cbs this cycle that’s realistic gets for Miami outside a handful.

2. Depending on who we land at safety, Francois is more than capable of staying at corner if need be.

3. Juco cb Brian George seems like a **** good option imo.

Well, he has whiffed on a lot of recruits in the time he’s been here which forced us to go get 2 mediocre JUCO’s.

No offense NY but your post makes zero sense. In my post I said the DB coaches have done a great job and thats part of the reason I dont get the lack of interest.

So we are really not getting much interest from CBs because we may get a JUCO? No. Not buying it.

Not an elite class for CBS. Our number 1 target keshawn Lawrence profiles better at safety. This class was really bad for corners. If was my choosing I would get jarrold pough and either brian george or marcus clarke

And that was good but I'm talking this year. I'm not downing the staff. I just dont get why kids are not more interested in us.
