You know I respect your opinion, so I'm just going to ask this question.

Given that this is his first year playing after switching from WR, do you honestly think he has no room for improvement? Because I remember another WR who got put in Randy's doghouse and then converted to playing DB.

Sam Shields.

And he converted from offense to defense halfway through his college years, not between HS and college.
All I know is what I saw in 2024 games. Couldn’t tell you anything about his background or track times or any of that.

Stiff dudes with slow feet don’t usually change. Hips don’t loosen with experience.

Does anyone else get annoyed by the MPH bull****?

Arroyo ran 21 mph (supposedly) and this kid who ran a 10.6 also ran 21 mph?

Arroyo is fast for a TE but he's not fast for a DB ... how could they possibly have run the same mph?
Arroyo faster than some dbs , he outran ga tech entire secondary. Hawked down that cam int even with a long angle vs Va tech too

this dude is ***. Spin job the measurables all you want. This is just a case of coaches thinking they can fix something broken. Oh well.
Sad Ice Hockey GIF by NHL

Petagna is part of the Cristobal propaganda machine. Lmao. This kid sucks, hopefully he’s ready to play a lot on ST… still think we close well in the secondary.
Come on now. Someone had to eat Stafford's snaps. JK. Size, starts, big offers in portal. Gotta be something there, right?

As far as Pooper P being a part of Mario's propaganda machine, he's actually slighted him plenty. LOT of sly criticisms the last two years. Getting Cam shut him up. Pate also overtly supports Mario. Pooper must've figured out he looks like a doofus disagreeing with the top of the 247 food chain.

BTW: What is it about 247 that wrecks a dude's hairline? Pooper, Loy, Ivins...they need help. D$ gets more view than they do based on hairline alone.

I’ll say this our cb play was better than safety, want to address that more honestly.

Tell Jaden Harris to hit the road and then I would like damari brown to possibly move to safety next year, I think He’s physical enough for that

In that case, perfectly fine. I’m just putting my opinion on a message board. Nothing more
We have so many self-admitted star whores on this board, But out of the top 16 DBs in the portal so far according to 247, we've landed #7 Karnley, #8 Poyser, #11 Brantley, are still in the mix for #16 O'Conner... And I'd expect Xavier Lucas to likely be a top 15 rated DB prospect as well when he finally enters. Plus I still would expect Tacario Davis who is ranked #1 to declare for the draft, which would push all those guys up 1. So IF we got Lucas and O'Conner that'd be possibly 5 of the top 15 DBs in the portal? Yet people on here will still be acting like we're getting bums lol.

If Karnley is CB 3 or 4 in this portal, it's a great take imo, theres a chance he ends up good. If he's CB2 AND expected to play meaningful snaps, that's very risky and not good. However I'd also add, I probably would still prefer him play over Jadais Richard... so like take that into consideration too.

For those asking, this take has nothing to do with O’Connor. We are making a strong push there. Lucas isn’t in the Portal, but if he ever jumped in I don’t think this would impact that recruitment.

Well, technically Lucas jumped in, but then Wisconsin grabbed him and didn't let him hit the water...

Arroyo's probably was when he was running free on the 75 yarder against GTech. Agree the MPH thing doesn't tell you much. All these guys who aren't big fat guys prolly can get above 20 MPH if given enough space. Don't know what the difference between 20/21/22 MPH means in terms of making football plays, cause MPH is for cars not humans.

thing is there are are no superstars in the portal at the position. So you could be getting the number 1 corner in the portal and he’s number 3 on Ohio states depth chart. Their portal number doesn’t really matter.
