Yep. I have friends in their recruiting dept, 1 is an analyst, and 1 in their training/s&c.. they’ve been spilling the beans on it to me.

He’s texted the guy in the recruiting dept but all in all they’ve kept it from team doctors, training staff, etc

Beyond the injury concerns and concerns over his play fall off this year.. I have my own concerns about his leadership, etc. I’ve heard some stories

The leadership thing is concerning as I also heard some stories from some Georgia folks. Cam was great in that dept so little worried about that aspect especially at that position.

Nothing personal against you. But I will not trust any bodies evaluation on here with exception to like 2 or 3 people.
We had people ****ed off on here when we got cam.
Uga underperformed big time this year and it wasn’t because they had a bad qb. They overpaid for young and had to portal to get a rb.
And their oc…..

Again, nobody is saying that Beck is cam or is a guaranteed first rounder.
But he’s good enough to win us a lot of games.

We were after guys that were very mediocre and would’ve been very high risk imo. And was going to pay them well , the options had just gotten thin. Luckily that guy stayed put. Beck was this years Cam , Miami kept coming back and checking. Wasn’t as aggressive as Cam because he was a special talent but Beck with a much improved defense can be enough.

As I’ve said for a month “ we don’t need another Cam we just need pretty good to good “. I knew fixing the Defense was a priority. He won’t have nearly as much pressure as Cam.

Context is key though. Their OL was decimated by injuries. As a team I read they had 30+ drops. Even if you remove the scheme from the equation, Cam would’ve struggled there. Especially against Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas 1.5 times. Yea, had he played behind a solid OL and had decent WRs there’d be a solid cause for concern. But if improve those, like having Ladd and Bowers you get the 2023 version. So split the difference and that’s where I think he lands here.

his eyes were bad in his picks. those picks were crushing and would have killed a team who didnt have as good of a defense as UGA did.

He was at atrocious as times , the UF game was vomit worthy. This isn’t Bobo and Dawson has a qb friendly offense. I’m sure we add a stud or two at wr now that we have a proven qb. More than likely after spring.

So trust your own eyes. Didn't ask you to trust me. You're using your eyes to evaluate TVD. You can do the same with Beck without the emotion of a QB doing things that is keeping your favorite team from winning.
