Beck is better anyone who entered not named Mateer. Mike Bobo and his WRs dropping everything killed him. Even this year you saw the flashes of NFL talent at times. Some people tried to trash Ward on this very board because of his fumbles at Wash St. He will have a better offensive system, better OL and probably a better group of WRs here. We just need a defense lol

Unfortunately this years QB class was hella weak but this is true I think as well. Hes the #2 portal QB behind Mateer. Which ill take that all day long seeing that we had posters talking up the South Dakota State QB the other day.

Last year against SEC competition Beck threw 12 TDs and 12 Picks

He got his numbers against Tennessee Tech, Georgia Tech, Clemson and Umass.

So now GT and Clemson don't count but Mateer's stats against this schedule fully counts?

Exactly what are you talking about? I included those teams. You said these are his numbers against SEC competition. No they werent. What you posted were his numbers overall. His numbers against SEC competition stunk.

Yep. I have friends in their recruiting dept, 1 is an analyst, and 1 in their training/s&c.. they’ve been spilling the beans on it to me.

He’s texted the guy in the recruiting dept but all in all they’ve kept it from team doctors, training staff, etc

Beyond the injury concerns and concerns over his play fall off this year.. I have my own concerns about his leadership, etc. I’ve heard some stories

If he does sign here, outside of the injury, this is my concern as well. Don't think he's an alpha like Cam and he won't have the experienced playmakers like Cam had either. Still be much happier going into the season with him over Emory.

Yeah I’m not creaming my pants over anyone. That’s a pretty drastic drop off year over year with a UCL injury, chief. Are we getting 3,400 yards and 28 tuds or 2,500 and 18? We won’t have UGA defense to bail us out of multiple turnovers. It’s more than just the box score. I’m definitely taking him but measured in my assessment of what he does with our roster and circumstances

This team had Cam Ward and a weak schedule and an experienced WR core and needed miracles to get to 10 wins. Anyone penciling in a Mario team for double digit wins is the one who should have their sanity questioned.
