The Clemson and FSU game made on thing clear to me, his arm was so weak and his throwing motion was awful. I don’t take much from those game’s since he was a true Fr in a bad spot but there was no denying his limitations with the arm. I thought he had an average arm by his HS film but there’s no zip at all , nada.

There was sure some zip on that 3 yard slant to Kirk tho

My point is...that might not be up to them anymore. Window is rapidly closing and your options with it. I guess there is the spring portal but that's a long time to be in limbo.

I don’t like Beck but I liked Mendoza. I never wanted Emory to start next year. D$ has been a Beck guy since he came out .

Appreciate your thoughts. Always thought Emory was oversold. Differ in that preferred a healthy Beck over Mendoza. Not sure where we turn now, though question those who think Nickle is a Game 1 option.

I love Nickel as a prospect. Everything I look for in a qb is there but in no way do you want him starting week one.

Are these the only realistic haven’t changed spots yet QBs that even fit that mold? Hoover to me should likely be the one we go all in on for realistic moves but TCU also has $.
