No. If there’d been an injury Emory would’ve been the guy. The were trying to get EW a shirt so they were careful with his snaps. Perfect world he plays in a few games then shirts .

It’s clear Emory isn’t QB1 and nothing today changed what Mario and Dawson had planned. I’m sure they were always looking for another QB. All today did was show everyone what most already knew. The drop off from Cam is going to be ugly if they don’t land another QB.

Honest question how can Emory even be an efficient backup when the run game isn’t working? Am I missing something here? He has a noodle arm, bad mechanics, etc.

Technically he could probably drag it to the spring window if he wants since it won’t impact his throwing and all that.

Jan 25th is the last day he has to declare for the draft. So you'll know before the spring window if he's returning or not.
