Hes a name thoughYall know Milroe had a 5:10 TD:INT in conference play right. That’s not a typo. 5. To. 10.

No way Leavitt leaves ASU, imo. Dillingham is on fire this year with that offense. They been killing it in the portal and recruiting lately. I've seen him play 2x in person and kid is a stud.Adding two to your list that aren't in the portal:
1. Sam Leavitt
2. Sawyer Robertson
3. Quinn Ewers
4. Jalen Milroe
5. Rocco Becht
6. Carson Beck
7. Avery Johnson
8. Kyron Drones
9. Emory Williams
I’m trying to figure out why there’s so many fans out there who are dead-set against this. He’s been a very good college QB in the SEC, playing in a conservative offense with lackluster WR play and lack of depth at RB this year. The part that nobody is looking at is how much the needle would move nationally if he came here. Portal transfers would be lining up to come here if he announced tomorrow he was transferring to Miami. At Miami, he’d have a better O-Line, better RB’s, better WR room even with the losses, and a better OC. I’m all for this.
No, obviously our defense is hot garbage compared to Georgia which is what held us back this year. If a QB is looking to raise his draft stock though, they could care less how good or bad the defense is. We had one of the worst defenses in CFB and Cam is still projected as a top five pick. I’m not going to sit here and say I would be as excited about Beck coming here as I was with Ward, but I’m definitely not against it either. So we’re basically better than the SEC champions and playing for Pop Tarts?
Strictly on offense yesSo we’re basically better than the SEC champions and playing for Pop Tarts?
We have no idea that arnold or mensah even wanted to play here . We gotta stop assuming every qb in portal wants to play for miamiI think a lot are missing the point with this Beck vs Emory thing.
For me, yes, I would take Beck over Emory.
But, it's the fact that we had better options out there before it came down to this conversation of what-ifs.
We went all in on Mateer, but.... we could've just rolled with trying to get Jackson Arnold or Mensah on board, but now all of the good options are gone and now we are hypothetically saying it's possible it could be Carson Beck, who, IMO, is a TVD on steroids with an injury.
Yes, I would take Beck over Emory, but I'm mad it's now coming down to that possibility, after seeing all the better QB fits for this system already finding homes.
I think most need to look at perspectives rather thinking we actually wasn't Emory over Beck.
I'm mad it came down to this.

Strictly on offense yes
Because not everybody wants to play where you think they wanna play just because you said it.Why wouldn’t they?
We had the #1 offense, therefore we are the first choice, of course.
So is Y.A. ****le, but he’s dead.Hes a name though

I have no idea either, but the fact that you think “why wouldn’t they” is ridiculous. It’s not (necessarily) that simple.
Unless of course it’s your goal to always **** on Miami until you reverse and play the other side until you reverse again
Would def buy in to that line of thinking, but $$$$ showed why that was the case either would have been interested. We have no idea that arnold or mensah even wanted to play here . We gotta stop assuming every qb in portal wants to play for miami![]()

idk if the staff would have viewed arnold as enough of an upgrade over emory, who knows maybe they did call mensah's agent and heard it was 4 mill per year over 2 years and we said nevermind. You need to re-read what I typed out.
READING COMPREHENSION!!!
I said none of that. I said we could've at least tried, now don't nickpick for the sake of arguing yall already know I'm not with that ****, I'm more of a logical person who deals in reality and the reality is, we put all of our eggs in a basket for a QB who pretty much showed us he wasn't interested to begin with, so why didn't we try with those other options? Maybe we wouldn't be having this convo about Beck vs Emory.
Our offense is better than Georgia, yes 100So we’re basically better than the SEC champions and playing for Pop Tarts?
RB I don't know bout that maybe a wash and also the TE position would be worst!!I’m trying to figure out why there’s so many fans out there who are dead-set against this.
