If you took a girl home and she had a ***** would you rather bang her or take your chances on the other girl you haven’t see naked ? Btw Carson is the tranny in this analogy.

Most don't watch games they know namesEverybody has watched Beck. This isn’t some flavor-of-the-month G5 or Big 12 QB that nobody has watched and hasn’t played anybody.
The funny thing is that the “trust your eyes” crowd seems to have a lot of faith in QBs they’ve never seen in extended action.
good for us the two teams we cant beat georgia tech and clemson are in the acc then.Georgia was the #1 team in the country to start the year. This loss of talent stuff is being sold way too hard. “28-12 is pretty good” He threw 9 TDs and 0 picks against Tennessee Tech and UMASS. Throw in another 5 TDs and no picks stat line against GT in a game that went to multiple OTs. And another 2 TD-0 INT day against Clemson. 16 TDs and no picks
So against the SEC which he’s being credited for going up against he threw 12 TD 12 INT while playing for GEORGIA. How could we possibly be not excited about adding that QB?
The Cam Ward spoiling us stuff is bull****. Beck was a lamb killer all year long.
He was Beck's OC last year though when he was good. Beck only became a bad QB when he started dating a CavinderMike Bobo needs to be mentioned in any Beck evaluation. He is a catastrophe of an offensive play caller.
Let’s say Beck and Ewers come back to college.
How many 2025 QBs would you rank ahead of them? I’m assuming it’s a long list, based on the way they’re discussed on here.
I agree with all that you said except for the bolded. Also if I’m choosing between Emory/Nickle & Ewers/Beck then the answer is obvious.
Most importantly who would move the needle for portal recruits that are in wait and see mode? Again the answer is obvious
Imagine the media hype if we bring in Ewers/Beck
If ward improved like he did (going from an average draft grade to being possibly the #1 pick) being in Dawsons systems then it’s fair to Beck/Ewers would improve and benefit as well.
If Ewers doesn’t get the grade he’s hoping then Mario/Dawson have a VERY strong pitch for him….almost like they can say “come to Miami and improve your draft grade”…….
The difference between 2023 Beck and 2024 Beck is minimal. The expectations coming into this season make his dropoff seem much bigger than it actually is. I would argue Ladd McConekey and Brock Bowers are pretty much the differences between the two seasons. He was Beck's OC last year though when he was good. Beck only became a bad QB when he started dating a Cavinder
Who are the better perceived options?@DMoney - We get you are trying to make a logic point, and yes reasonably Beck is better than a good number of P4 QBs, but to expect that to convince us it’s the right choice is false equivalency when better perceived options based on reasonable inference are available.
Put in law terms: your client is charged. He could be convicted for 10-15 years but prosecution willing to give 5-7. You’re trying convince us to take the 7 and say we’re gambling on the unknown. BUT the evidence doesn’t make it open and shut and your way puts us in prison…
Not to mention the $$$ I believe Beck takes away from others (as I have a hard time believing in that Beck commands less than Mendoza)
I think it's fair to argue about the cause of his dropoff but I disagree that the dropoff was "minimal." He was 7th in EPA/dropback (.35) in '23 and 50th this year (.10). That's a significant dropoff, which tracks across his traditional numbers as well. The difference between 2023 Beck and 2024 Beck is minimal. One thing that was consistent across both seasons is mike Bobo being crap.
The stats between the two years aren't actually that big of a difference. As I said above, the bigger factors in his production dips were losing Bowers and McConekey. I also haven't said anything about how great Beck is or how crappy he is. So come after other people with a million questions. But I keep seeing posts showing how great his stats was? Then I saw how great his stats was last year? I’m confused , he gets the credit for those stats then Bobo gets the blame for the contains of negative that come to light? Is Bobo asking him to throw in to double coverage? That’s before we even discuss only having one function arm.
Fair. I watched plenty of Georgia the past two years and the basic stats and my eye test (lol) tell me not that big of a difference, but that's an interesting stat. He was objectively worse this season no doubt. Arguing about how much prolly just runs in circles on this board!I think it's fair to argue about the cause of his dropoff but I disagree that the dropoff was "minimal." Lot of keyboard wizards and seasoned talent evaluators on the board who saw a game or two and talked to a friend who has a friend who knows a UGA fan. Maybe we should all set our knowledge aside and let our HC and offensive coordinator make an evaluation. Is he even gonna be healthy by spring, can he be coached, does he upgrade the room and what’s the cost?Everybody has watched Beck.
