That was a great game. GT scored all over Georgia defense and then Georgia woke up on offense. Refs bailed out Georgia at least 3 times in that game too.

I have a wild idea , how about we play complimentary football ? Balanced offense that moves the ball and a defense that gets stops. Offense takes a step or two back but the defense will absolutely take a couple forward. That unit went from a weakness to a strength. Add Xavier and it’s a deep , playoff caliber secondary.

Can we do that? I mean... you can actually win games by not having to score 45 points a game?!?!

If Carson Beck leads us to ACC Championship game + Win it AND make it to the Natty game, Cam Ward deserves his own statue.

I know it sounds crazy but without Cam Ward committing to Miami, no top tier QB is committing to Miami. Ward has started a trend in the right and hopefully a successful direction.

I know your knowledge of UM goes back a ways, so I don’t need to convince you that many of our good/great offensive years were aided by dang good defense and special teams. Would be so nice to be a well rounded team again.

Yes the talent on paper is minimum top 25 and could be close to top 15 with Lucas

But none of that matters if we are calling inside stunts when the team is running outside

that Gatech game, yeah, they only gave up 28 -- but they flat out could not get off the field. And it limited the opportunities for the offense. And when you give up THAT many yards on the ground to a team which doesn't have a consistent pass threat -- that's terrible defense, bottom line

Simply not true. GTech went 3 & out 4 times and on another drive punted after 6 plays and just 25 yards. We only scored 10 points off those 5 stops by the defense.

Yea, we won 7 (or 8 depending how you can’t it) in 2023 with TVD. That roster was much worse. And TVD sucked

people forget that most of our big wins in the Erickson era was keyed by the defense. Even the 2001 juggernaut had a game like BC (where the offense stalled)

It's really a shame Damien Martinez is gone, he would've had a monster 25 for UM...

With a solid, healthy version of Beck, it's probably around 8-9, right?

With Beck its ACC title or bust. Miami and Clemson are the 2 clear favorites to win the ACC going into 2025 season

I probably have PTSD from Mario losing a game or two every year as the heavy favorite (something that happened twice in November this past season).

I'm becoming more and more cynical as I get older. I can't help it

I haven't seen it in here. Over on the youtube side I see some hate but not much. I feel like most of the fanbase is happy over this. The 2nd half of the pop tart did wonders on the pro Emory crowd
