Sincere question…who did?Beck definitely doesn’t blow my skirt up, but fugg it. Let’s roll.
Maybe his experience, playing in a less competitive conference, and a dominant running game will make him effective.

Oh. No. Lol. Twitter makes this place look like a Mensa meeting.Go read the twitter replies to DMoney’s tweet in the other thread.
The qb situation is taking the eyes off the bigger decision
And that’s who is the dc
We had the best qb, arguably the best player this year
And the number 1 offense
And the defense was so bad we wasted a national championship caliber offense
We couldn’t even name the acc championship
That’s how atrocious the defense was
ok, is that a guarantee or an assumption? As of now we don't even have a DC...
A guarantee, the staff is different and the players. Do you expect the defense to get worse?
We made a significant investment to flip the DB room and did that.
I’m just not sure how some view this roster and team as a bottom of the ACC team
But is the tomahawk steak well done?Nah we got lucky lol. We talked with Mendoza. Last week at this time we were dumpster diving then the waiter came out and dropped a freshly cooked tomahawk steak in the dumpster. Second year in a row we played Russian roulette at qb.
Exactlythat's the reality, it's safe to assume that the offense will take a step back, which is understandable. Now, how much can the defense improve? it was literally the worst Ive seen as a Miami fan (I don't care what the numbers said).
Ceiling? 10-11 wins is more what I would expect to be the ceiling. 8-9 should be the floor. That is assuming the defense is fixed up.what's our ceiling next season with Emory as the starter, or Nickel...maybe 5-7 wins
With a solid, healthy version of Beck, it's probably around 8-9, right?
I also think beck would vibe with nickel well. One is from Jacksonville and other GeorgiaCarson Beck beats the alternative. At this moment, I'd take him in a New York minute. Miami needs a guy to hold this down for one year before the likes of Nickel and Coleman make their mark
Exactly
No matter what the stats said
We knew if the opposing team needed a score they could just run a play with a player going in motion or and have a player running wide open
Not once can a fan honestly say
They felt Guidry would get a stop when we needed it
This offense was the equivalent of cmrs offense his last year here
Over what?CIS gurus slandering Beck’s character now. Gotta love it.

Ever since D$ first started mentioning him on the pod I've seen a ton of it. Haven't been on the boards a whole lot today or yesterday so maybe some tunes changedAre people actually saying they don’t want him in here or are you guys arguing with the wind
Probably doesn't want to play for Bobo plus he had little weapons or OLine help in a year that was supposed to be his send off to the NFL and he entered season projected #1 and ended it with a ****ed elbow and likely only a 3rd rounder....Why does he want out of UGA? Doesn't UGA want him back? If not, why not?
Guy would light up ACC defenses.
I have a wild idea , how about we play complimentary football ? Balanced offense that moves the ball and a defense that gets stops. Offense takes a step or two back but the defense will absolutely take a couple forward. That unit went from a weakness to a strength. Add Xavier and it’s a deep , playoff caliber secondary.that's the reality, it's safe to assume that the offense will take a step back, which is understandable. And beat GT! ( Although barely)
