I've been following them this offseason and they went from Conner Weigman, Miller Moss (who went to Louisville) and settled for Rickie Collins. Not sure what happen with Weigman, did Houston have more money then them? Weigman would have been a perfect replacement for McCord. If they make Collins a good QB then that OC is going to get a head coaching gig really soon.

Some insider on their board thinks Ty Simpson from Bama is going there after Spring Practice. I doubt it. Suspect they go get Brown or Rashada now. They signed a decent athletic QB last year out of Georgia but don't think he played this year.

Saw this earlier. These are professional scouts, in charge of SCOUTING prospects, have told journalists that Cam is a dual threat QB that will have designed QB runs.

Look at the mediocre QB play we saw all over the playoffs- especially Notre dame and Penn state- this is PROOF - we do not need Beck to be Cam Ward - no one will be - thats a once in a generation- there were NO QBs in playoffs as good as cam. But, look at ND and Penn state - got to final 4 with pedestrian QB play - but they play defense, run ball, and complementary football. Beck is plenty good enough to get us in - IF - we round out those other areas of opportunity
