Who does Cuse have at QB now that McCord is out?

A few weeks back they picked up a QB out of LSU. Rickie Collins a 2023 kid. Huge question marks for the Cuse when it comes to the QB position for the upcoming season

Just looked him up. He has 7 passing attempts in 2 seasons. Will be interesting to see if they start him, or if they try to pull someone in the Spring portal with experience ( though likely not many high end options).

I've been following them this offseason and they went from Conner Weigman, Miller Moss (who went to Louisville) and settled for Rickie Collins. Not sure what happen with Weigman, did Houston have more money then them? Weigman would have been a perfect replacement for McCord. If they make Collins a good QB then that OC is going to get a head coaching gig really soon.

He would have put up multiple 1000 yard seasons with a qb
Multiple? You know in the history of the program only Restrepo has more than 1. Restrepo did it with TVD and Emory Williams once. I challenge you to find two guys at that position any more different in their demeanor than Thomas and Restrepo. So I'm gonna say no. Thomas doesn't put up two.

That assumes he would’ve been eligible to play. Jeff proved what he was his whole life. All the talent in the world and certainly capable of putting up big numbers, but he was a clown and still is. He’s washed out every place he’s been. There’s a reason for that.

It's worse than that. They are literally saying he was too good and the defense would have been better without him. We also somehow would have won more games without him as well while simultaneously saying he's the best QB. As if the second half of the bowl game wasn't how we would have looked all year without him because... ?

I don't even know how you get you head that far up your ***. These mother****ers hated when we played broball and really think Iowa is the best team in the country because they play 1940s football. Yet they are clamoring for us to go back to broball? These retards are arguing "the defense would have been better if the offense was different. Maybe by playing keep away." Meanwhile we were 14th in Time of Posession aka keep away. Make it make sense.

Can't make this **** up.

My favorite is, after 11.5 games of the #1 offense in the country and a Heisman finalist, we should’ve entirely changed the way we played football and just ran the ball over and over and over against Syracuse.

These people are beyond help.

He would have had as many 1000 yard seasons as Ajayi Hall. None. For those guys it's not about QB, it's about hard work and mental stability.

Georgia QB Carson Beck, the top-ranked overall player in the Portal, has committed to Miami.

Beck is 24-3 over his last two years as a starter and has thrown for 7,426 yards (68.4%) with 52 touchdowns and 18 INTs. He also ran for 187 yards and 5 TDs.

A member of the 2020 class, Beck will turn 24 during the season and brings tremendous experience to Miami's quarterback room. A 6'4, 230-pound passer with a verified 4.40 shuttle in high school, Beck was projected as a first-round pick before the season and was still a likely Day 1-2 pick prior to an elbow injury that ended his season. He is expected to resume throwing in spring.

Beck was one of the most efficient QBs in America in 2023, throwing for 3,941 yards, 24 TDs and 6 INTs with a spectacular 9.5 yards per attempt. Following the departure of his two top weapons to the NFL, Beck's production slipped to 3,485 yards, 28 TDs and 12 INTs in 2024. Georgia led the nation in drops, and its running game collapsed from 17th in the nation in yards per game to 102nd.

The Canes return four starting OL and two of their top QBs and will be major players for a big-time WR add in the spring Portal session.

This is fantastic news! Now at least we have a fighting chance next season.

I strongly believe that Luke Nickel is the real deal. But learning under an extremely successful and experienced college QB will hopefully only accelerate his learning curve.

Welcome to the U, Carson!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
