Canes ranked 12th tonight

Bama certainly did. At any point of the season, when you lose to two teams, you were favored by double-digits, and one of those L’s was a 21-point loss; you should be out. Mario could be a meathead, and the defense can be horrible, but Cam gives you a puncher chance against most teams in the top 12.
Bama didn’t lose 2 of their last 3. They won 4 of their last 5. And South Carolina should have been ranked ahead of Bama.

The AP loads up SEC teams in the top 10. Bama will always play more teams in the top 25. The records of teams in each league differ little. It all goes back to starting position of the league’s teams generally. He also didn’t even mention Miami’s two losses were less than a TD each. Miami would have been in shootouts. But much more fun for TV than Bama.
Absolutely. That’s all it is. Rigged from the start. Syr, Duke, GT, Louisville should all be ‘ranked’ but Missouri is ranked. Rigged and they are all laughing to the bank

I'm disappointed as ****, but I also came into tonight knowing that this was a likely outcome, especially after Saturday's loss. Miami had their fate in their hands and the D dropped and then took a huge steaming dump on it. That said, it's beyond frustrating watching our "Fans" justify this crap.

I'm curious as to what would have happened had Miami won Saturday and then lost against SMU in the ACC Championship. I wouldn't be shocked if they would have found a way to drop us out anyway.

silent. He's been mute all weekend. He'll speak up meekly for SMU or Clemson next week
This point in history is a terrible time to have a type b personality commissioner. His 10-2 team with the best offense in all college ball is being dumped and he is silent. Nothing. It is like he does not want to offend the network that is f’ing over his league. Just play nice and take it. Need more Lashlee type talking points to shame the sheep. Not be a 🐑.

Now I want Clemson to beat SMU in the hopes that SMU knocks out Alabama.

Ridiculous how this playoff is the Big10/SEC challenge.

I guess karma for us for laughing at FSU last year. In back to back years, both of our schools have been ****ed by mediocre Bama teams.
Rooting hard for Clemson on Saturday. In a close one though so they don’t try to bump SMU

Honestly, I agree with you. I was being more neutral to keep the mods off my a*s. Since the Diaz days, they hate me lol. But nonetheless, I feel this was the PEAK OF THE CRISTOBAL ERA, not some delusional "progress year." You will never have quarterback, a schedule, and such parity, in which there is a lack of elite, can't beat teams like this year again. This is Manny in 2020, Golden in 2013, Richt in 2017, and Shannon in 2009. This isn't going to work with Cristobal. I can't believe no one knows their history and can't see it...
I said last year that Mario will be let go in 2-3 years. Heck maybe 4. But he's more than likely not going to be National Championship level successful here. If I'm wrong(and I really hope I am) then GREAT! But man, my fear for this program is really what comes after. Because we will never go after the right(wrong) hire. The program might as well just put the dirt over it for good after that.

Clemson blows out SMU, we might sneak in. Think about it. It will take a Clemson 21+ point will to give us a chance. **** 9-3 Bama.

The shortcomings of this team became evident around weeks 5 and 6 when when we scored 38 and 39 points and barely squeaked by VT and Cal because the of the shoddy defense. The writing was on the wall, but the frustrating part is that it didn't appear the staff was doing anything to address the problems. Week after week it was the same glaring problems rinse and repeat.
