You’re conflating two separate topics bc you’re wrong again. Head to head matters for who gets in. If both teams are in it’s not the only factor for who gets the higher rank.

You claimed nobody flipped rankings bc of head to head. I proved you wrong with Baylor TCU.

I hope so, but the committee and pollsters absolutely love UGA and Bama.

The committee is banking on UGA beating GT. Doesn't matter then if UGA loses in the SECCG. The ACC isn't getting in two teams unless both SMU and Miami win convincingly this weekend and then play a close and competitive ACCCG.

Lot of scenarios to also get Bama in, but only one needs to happen. These are somewhat realistic scenarios.

1. USC beats ND. Probably won't happen, but ND will fall out. Bama gets in.
2. Vandy beats Tenn. Again, probably won't happen, but Bama takes Tennessee's spot if that does.
3. Loser of the ACCCG is out. Bama takes that spot.
4. Boise State loses to Oregon State. Bama takes that spot if that happens.
5. Clemson beats USCe, but Bama also beats Auburn. Bama jumps Clemson since they won the "Iron Bowl"

Now if somehow TAMU beats Texas and USCe beats Clemson, we are all in for a rude awakening.

You claimed that head to head matters when it comes down to one team getting in over another. Then you used Baylor and TCU, neither of whom got in. I still don’t think you know who made the playoffs in 2014.

My claim all along has been that the winner of USC and Clemson has a shot to get in over Alabama and Ole Miss. That is now true more than it was when I wrote it now that Clemson is ahead of them.

What a ridiculous comment. Clemson is currently the FIRST TEAM OUT, and your argument is that Clemson is less likely to get in at 10-2 (after having just beaten the #15 team) than South Carolina, which would need to jump from 15 to 11 after beating Clemson.

A 3 loss "SEC" team has a better chance jumping the ACC championship game loser than another ACC team that didn't even make it to the game. You would have to be at stupid piece of **** to not understand that. Send DM for further details.

Your (bull****) claim was that a 3-loss South Carolina team (coming from #15 currently, and having to beat #12 Clemson to get to 9-3) would have a "better chance" of getting in than a 10-2 Clemson (coming from #12 and having beaten #15 South Carolina). Which is just a brain-dead claim to make for the "first out" team who would knock off a similarly-ranked team (Clemson beating South Carolina).

Now you are inventing some new bull**** about "jumping the ACC championship game loser" to cover your bare ***. Ridiculous.

If Clemson beats South Carolina, they have an excellent chance to get in as the 11 seed, particularly if Texas beats Georgia in the SEC championship.

Clemson is currently the first-out at #12 (Arizona State vaults them as Big 12 champ). If #12 Clemson beats #15 South Carolina, they are very likely to be in the final Top 12 seedings.

Don't think Bama gets in over the loser of the ACCCG if it's us vs SMU. It would be hard to rationalize that when both teams had only one regular season loss. Teams will not be rewarded for sitting on their asses while watching two 1 loss teams play an additional game in a conference championship. **** Bama! Saban ain't there anymore and the shine is wearing off
