Honestly...even Sam W right now would make us unbelievably tough. We are already a match up nightmare for most teams.

I'd say a big or even another PF with an attitude to just give us a little edge.

I agree. Having Sam on this squad would have been just what we needed. Heck, even a Kamari Murphy woulda been nice.

Unfortunately, Walker has regressed from last season and Casey's development, such as it has been, has been slowed by injury.

Solid move up now we need to get that killer instinct tonight and ride that wave going forward. Statement game gentleman.

Walker looks anemic. My goodness everyone with regular playing time has substantially played better.

Why I said he'd regressed. Last season, he had a number of double figure scoring games, a bunch of blocks and boards, etc. Was thought to be one of the ACCs better 6th men. This season ... different story.

Still, Walker is 6'9, and we are lacking in size, so he has to play. Casey might've taken these minutes but he just hasn't looked ready at all in ACC competition, injured or healthy.

I hope Yahoo is on the money but doubtful. CBS 25+1 didn't like the Louisville game i guess, and barely moved us from 20 to 19 in today new rankings there. lotsa 6-loss teams ahead of us, though several lost a game last week (which we didnt) sigh. And we are still low in NET, where we dropped 2 to 32 this week.

My pondering is, with @NC, WF, @VT, FSU & PITT remaining, how many of those MUST we win to not be a bubble team? Im thinking at least 1 maybe 2? (of course, even if **** froze over and we lost all 5, we still have ACC tourney to recover a bit.)
