If the coaches sincerely believed that he would be ready to Notre Dame.... I mean, if Mario actually believed that, or WORSE - still believes it, then it will be time for me to board the "Get Rid Of Mario Train".

Mario better hope like **** that Luke is the 2nd coming of Clemson's Sunshine and be great as a frosh QB, because if doesn't get to 10 wins next season, it truly will be time to move on regardless of whether or not his contract forces UM to keep him longer. Still hoping against hope that this isn't the case and he was never planning on starting Emory against ND.

Bruh… he had his chances, but he kept hitting his check down option. He’s not it. Maybe u can put him in when u up by 40 in the 2nd half…. as soon as I seen him jogging on the field, I knew the gig was up.
 
People harping on Averagio's failures spotting and signing backup QB talent are forgetting the bang up job Averagio has done spotting and recruiting secondary talent

this man wins recruiting battles for players that have no business being here

I like Emory, but I have to admit that he was horrible today. I don’t understand how Iowa State can recruit Florida QBs (Rocco Becht from Wesley Chapel) better than the Canes

I mean that comment was made in the 3rd quarter. Lol obviously we saw when Emory had to throw he was trash. But I don’t get putting him in a bowl game and playing conservative until the final minute. It’s a bowl game.

We’d be really good with Mendoza next year too. We should’ve won this game and Emory had like 14 passing yards lmao. We need to push crazy hard for a competent qb or it’s Mario’s head

We have failed at player evaluations for so long that I totally expect other programs to poach talent from our own backyard
