Mario is paid in the top 10 of HC. The fact that Emory was rolled out as the backup when he’s had multiple years to evaluate him is not a good look.

I feel bad for Emory. He is clearly a very good kid and will have to deal with all the hate. This is on the coaches. He was brought in as QB2 behind a Qb who still cant hit the broadside of a barn and no longer with the program. Why didn't we keep HR PuffnStuff?

I’ve never been a fan but I can’t believe he’s actually worse than I thought. Not only does he have a noodle arm and no athletic ability, he gets passes batted down (at 6’5”) the ones that don’t get batted down are nowhere near the target.

I think everyone should be all in on securing a portal QB in the spring.

It's something I actually noticed & mentioned in the post game recap for the Clemson game when he made his first start.

I figured by now they would have fixed it, but it's clear his throwing mechanics are irreparable.

I knew there was a reason I smelled Bullsh*t on that whole, "Emory is really QB2, but they're redshirting him & would only play him in case of emergency" narrative that popped up back in September.

The whole explanation was always illogical.

I agree completely and I while I see the similarities in their game.

Sam Howell was a consensus top 3 QB in his class, Nickel ain’t even top 20. Gotta slow this hype train to a complete stop for at least a year or two.

It’s been said ad nauseam on the podcasts, qualified with dmoney saying he thinks we’ll be looking for one in the portal. IMO it’s clear that someone wanted the Emory Williams narrative pushed for some reason and dmoney played the good soldier. D plays that role well as he has to in his position but if you read between the porsts I think you pick up what he feels a lot of the time.
