Camp Report: Scrimmage #2

Hard to see how Grace doesn't get on the field this year. Speed compensates for a lot of things.

so nice to finally see receivers wide open by 6 yards when our defense is in zone coverage again. the yearlong wait has been intolerable.

Im just glad Gus was on the recieving end of Perryman's hit and not Duke...

They are showing a few and selected "highlights" so you cannot conclude that we were playing zone the entire time.

I don't care what no one says There is no way we lose to UL. With the guys we have on O, I can play QB and get them the ball. As far as D, there was a few guys that blew coverages (DP being one) but from what I could see they had a few guys that won't be on the field sep 1

I know he's a designated whipping dog and everything, but old Thurston seems to be coming on strong the last week at linebacker. Especially in coverage with a run of picks and batted passes.

Funny. After the first scrimmage where Kaaya had to make the perfect throw to hit Duke in the in zone I don't remember seeing him talk about how tight the coverage was.

Armbrister started playing towards the end of the season too. I feel he is bashed a lot when he shouldn't be. He made a transition from safety to linebacker and now that solid weight has been added he will be a very solid player for us
